Best Experience: The rooms are very good and the best part is that it contains two double beds so there is no need for extra beds for the kids. While staying over there i check out there for two days for Lachung and when i came back again the rooms were not available in my category, they were very accomodating and offered me a very high class room with out any additional charges. I like this the most.
Worst Experience: When i checked out for lachung i told them to book me again after two days and they assured me that i will get the same room again, when i came back they were unable to find my booking.

Best Experience: I have allergy for Methi. The restaurent manager got me special dish with out methi even we were on Buffet plan.
Worst Experience: We checked in on 10.11.2010. We were 3 couples and three children. We had booked total 4 valley view rooms three months prior. I had personally talked to hotel reservation counter twice in the previous week before leaving for Sikkim and again before reaching Gangtok. As our children were staying in a seperate room for the first time we required all four rooms on the same floor. I had reminded them that we need all four rooms on the same floor and with a valley view for which we had paid. We were assured of the same. When we checked in at about 3.30 PM on 10.11.2010, to our surprise we were allotted all four rooms on different floors and with out velley view. The front office told that they do not have any vacent room. I told the manager that I had contacted the reservations 2 days back and I was assured of 4 rooms on same floor and with valley view. But the manager on duty was so adament that he told us the rooms are not available. He also told that he doen\'t know what reservation guys have assured us. He even started telling that the reservation guy has left the job. Then I told him that on all three occassions I had talked to a lady and not a gentleman. We refused to check in. Then after aurguments of 15 minutes he alloted us totally different rooms two of which were on same floor and two were on different floors. All rooms were non valley view. We again confronted how he can allot us totally new rooms when earlier it was told that the rooms are not available. He told us that we should now accept whatever he is offering as he is making a favour to us by giving 2rooms on the same floor. And if we dont want these rooms we can get our money back and leave. We could not tolerate this type of nonsense. We told him that you are serving in the Hospitality Industry and should not pass such remarks. We refused to check in and We demanded to meet the G.M. of the hotel immidiately. We were told that the GM is in the meeting and can not meet us right now. But we did not check in and told them that we will wait for the G.M. to finish his meeting. Now the unrest started in the front office. Finally another deputy manager intervained. And we were allotted again totally different four rooms on the same floor with the valley view. This means there were at least 12 rooms vacant at that point of time, but the front office was not ready to allot us. Many of us may face such kind of situation while travelling. But never succumb to the hotel managements and get the rightful returns for your hard earned money.
