The stay at Bethel Estate was a never forgettable experience. The place was welcoming with chirping of birds and an great jeep ride from kutta to Bethel. None of us had ever experienced such a drive in our lifetime. As soon as we reached Bethel we had a warm welcome by our host Rakesh \'An amazing personality to spend your time with\' i.e. if you are interested in understanding Nature the right way. The cottages were a big surprise to all of us as it was built using bamboo and all of us were thrilled as soon as we entered into the cottage. The unexpected part of the cottage was that all the rest rooms were fully equipped with all modern facilities and was amazingly clean. As soon as we settled ourselves, we were invited for lunch with delicacies of India. When were having lunch the white water rafting was planned and we ate to our heart\'s content and were preparing ourselves for the big sport which none of us had ever experienced.

Best Experience: White Water Rafting was the highlight of this trip. As first timers for this we were all thrilled to see the water flowing at its best. Our instructor Kamal gave us military orders and we followed them like NCC cadets. Because of this our raft had no problems unlike the other team!!

The location of the homestay, a swim in the stream nearby, enjoyin the camp fire in the chillness of the climate, wide range of food served,a short trek into the wild, comfortness, and the Excellent Service & Care by Rakesh and his team, makes Bethel Homestay a place to visit and enjoy atleast once in a lifetime.

Best Experience: The hospitality of Rakesh is indeed worth mentioning about.

Truly a memorable stay...Not to forget the food was awesome..we didn\'t feel like we were away from home..The hospitality was really good.Overall we had a wonderful experience...and I would certainly visit this place very soon....

Bethal home stay - I booked this home stay after going through reviews in Holiday IQ and was skeptic how it would turn out to be. Well I could sense that I made a right decision when Mr. Rakesh guided us when I was on the way to this beautiful home stay. He made sure we didn’t miss the route and the follow was timely and precise . We were four close friends and wanted to take time off from our daily mundane activities. Our objective was to just relax. My friends used to tease me after seeing the follow up on our way to the home stay either it will be a very good place or it will be very worse. I and rather all of us were glad that it turned out to be a fantastic place. It perfectly matched our criteria of relax…. We reached there at around 12 noon and was greeted by Rakesh and his crew members and we were served welcome drink lemon juice/ tea then we were guided to our bamboo cottage which we had booked. The cottage was neat and clean and the view from the cottage was range of mountains which separates Karnataka and Kerala. It’s close to Irrupu Falls. We took around half an hour to refresh and were ready for lunch. The table was arranged in front of a cottage a place which was bit elevated and from where you can get a beautiful view of the mountain range. To compliment the view the lunch was awesome. One of us was a pure veggie and always had a bad experience in most paces he visited earlier. He was more than happy to see the spread for Veggie here and we were too considering the Non Veg. We had a king’s lunch with some drinks looking at the range of mountains in front of us and we felt blessed We took some rest and then headed for a dip in the stream nearby. Rakesh showed us about how to get natural fish pedigree and it was kind of fun when small fish starts tickling your toes. Couple of us didn’t know how to swim Rakesh was kind enough to teach them some basics of swimming and both were able to at least get rid of fear of drowning. We had nice fun swimming and were back and took some rest. I climbed up the machan and was gazing at the mountains while sipping tea and could see it was raining on the mountains. The view was awesome and felt close to the nature. Well come evening the weather was kind of cold and we relaxed in front of a cottage where we had our lunch we could feel the silence of the nature and some sounds of birds around slowly we started getting into our discussions. Rakesh joined us for a quick chat and left us in our own world and he made sure the snacks followed by and later the dinner We all had a nice time and slept late got up in the morning got ready had a good and heavy breakfast and thanked Rakesh and his crew for the awesome hospitality. I strongly recommend all to visit this place. Kudos to Rakesh and his crew to make the place look more beautiful with their hospitality

I can\'t express that much, because it is more than EXCELLENT!!!

Best Experience: First thing is their hospitality, they take care of everything. It is the only place I could find such a caring people - Rakesh, Salim, Manju and all other staff. They took us to Irruppu Falls which is another great activity. The falls is also located inside the jungle, great place to trek. There is a pond nearby the Estate which is really nice for swimming. The food was reallt tasty. You will get all kind of food (veg and non veg). It was much more than a Buffet. The night stay was the best experience, really lived with the nature. The camp fire was another great thing, they kept on giving all kind of snacks during our party. The scenic mountain infront of the cottage was a great view. It is really worth to go there. DON\'T MISS Bethel Estate becuase we really miss that place now.
