The victoria club hotel in puri, orrisha is a very fine sofisticated hotel in bitch of puri , swargadar is at about 5-7 minutes in walking distance, in the hotel all rooms are well decorated and furnished , restrurant are also the fine and quality of food is also healthy,attached to this hotel their accompanies are also good.

Our stay at Puri was wonderful. We stayed there for 3 nights and truly enjoyed the sea unless Goa where there are lots of foreigners. Here the crowd is mostly local from orissa or West Bengal. Although we visited in early May the weather was not that hot. The day starts early at 4.45 AM and the noon also starts early as most of the shops start closing by 11 AM, (whereas in Delhi it is the tie for the shops to open ). All the street vendors are also off the road by max. 12 noon.

Best Experience: Less crowded beaches, you can enjoy the sea thru' your hotel room, one should go to relax from the hustle bustle of a large city. Had it not been my family, I would have stayed there for atleast a week.

Worst Experience: You dont get to loiter around in the noon till 5PM as no one is around and it looks like a curfew like situation

the overall experience was very good,the hotel was awesome,lavishing surroundings,good behavior,and excellent service was provided.

Worst Experience: nothing as such.

I visited puri in october, 2011. We stayed in victoria club for 3 nts. The hotel is expensive, but its worthfull. The room costs 3600 ( premium room). Just 10 m distance from puri sea beach..all the rooms are view facing...

Best Experience: The rooms are extra ordinary. Reception and staffs are well organized. Foods are also good.

Worst Experience: Its a good property, but i expect a swimming pool over there.

great location, the premium rooms are value for money however the normal deluxe a/c rooms are a let down. Food is typically bengali and lacks variety. The hotel has friendly staff however the management is reluctant to provide customised package for visitors/tourist nor do they have any discount for people who are loyal to brand "victoria club". Thus the sea view rooms (premium category) are recommended for stay as they have great view and you can possibly walk down to other good eating places near by to taste a variety.

Best Experience: the balcony of the premiums rooms!!

Worst Experience: the attitude of the management. I stayed for 3 nights and wanted to extend the stay for one more night and requested the management to keep me informed twice. However they told either it is full or to wait till the day of extension. While checking out to another hotel and clearing bills, they scornfully remarked that there are rooms available and we could have extended the stay with victoria club itself. Thus customer satisfaction is not on priority for victoria club management as any ways they have a steady inflow of tourist and they are quite proud about the same.
