The view is heavenly, however there's nothing much to do beyond admiring the view.

Best Experience: Fished with the locals and that was awesome.

Worst Experience: Service was not the best at the hotel.

Lake Haven is all about a resort which lacks good management. The location is good but the place is ill kept and is minus professional staff. The rooms are damp, furniture is old and rusted. A veranda has been converted in a restaurant which is infested with flies and insects. We were booked for two nights but left after one night only ...Thank God !!

Best Experience: Fresh Toddy was arranged by the local staff. We enjoyed the drink sitting by the waterway.... our first taste of the heavenly extract.

Worst Experience: No activities whatsoever were available at the resort. They took us for a massage to another resort which was giving preferences and services to their own guests. We were attended last after a long wait and finally during the shower the water finished

It was absolutely a very nice trip. The Location, the service, the hospitality etc. etc. was very goooood. The rooms are having a very good lake view, this lake is the National Water Highway, so you get to see a lot of boats moving. The House boat arranged by Mathew was amazing... Thanks Mathew. It had a roof top, so the view was brilliant.

Best Experience: Saji's service was very good, we got some good Appam with Vegetable Stew....

The overall experience at the hotel was good but could have been better. You are picked up by a jetty to reach the island and the view is simply magical. The island is situated on the banks of the backwater and you can relax by watching the scenaries, taking a boat ride or simply relaxing. The restaurant however needs to be revamped as you can find lots of insects and mosquitoes. The food was served hot and tasty.

Best Experience: We enjoyed our stay by visiting the paddy fields situated behind the resort. we took a morning walk and were guided by the hotel staff. it was a refreshing experience to see the green fields in dawn break. We also had gone rowing in one of the boats and it was thrilling!!!

Worst Experience: The ayurvedic massages as described on the website is not present at the hotel. One needs to travel quite a long distance to reach the place where the hotel has a tie up with. So be prepared for a local auto drive :)

I have been in Alleppey Lake Haven Island Resort during last December. Over all arrangements were superb. You can enjoy every moments in there. Just spend 2 days there and get unforgattable experience. It is simply awesome.Their House Boat service was excellent.
