Hotel Review of Muthoot Cardamom County
Comments: Our stay in this hotel was the best in our entire Kerala trip!! It was a traveler's delight!!
The food, the service, the welcome that we received - was all simply amazing!! When we reached, we were welcomed with a garland. We were told that they have upgraded our room to a more private area without any cost. Our room was huge - very spacious with a private balcony and a large bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very good, the waiters were so courteous and friendly. There were many activities for guests - swimming, table tennis, well stocked library, massage parlor, etc. They also arranged outdoor activities for tourists like nature trail, elephant ride, boat cruise and all.
Best Experience: There are so many - the food, activities, service - everything about this place was beyond excellence!
Worst Experience: I dont think there is any. I think only the room service was very slow in the lunch hour, but, thats about it!!

Being an experience traveler for over 35 years I have found the restaurant staff extremely attentive to my personal dietary needs (they have prepared daily no spicy food for me) I would certainly recommend this hotel to any individual travelin to this part of India....

The resort is very well designed and the rooms are excellent. Restaurent serves very good food but only buffet, which is quite expensive. The overall service was quite good and staff was available whenever called for. Recreation facilities such as swimming pool, table tennis, carrom are well maintained. Cottages are situated on a hillock and hence you have to climb a lot of steps to reach your room, which can be quite exhausting if you have elderly people with you....

The management really needs to take steps to boost up the service levels. The front desk staff is a mix of head-heavy and supportive executives. Owing to a mixed experience, one is forced to look into other options available like the Taj and the CGH property just adjoining this property....
