Thiruvananthapuram food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Wander around this area just after sundown and asorb a bewildering array of activities - from a group of blind singers belting out malayalam movie numbers over a pa system to a bunch of pentecost preachers rousing the flock with 'fire & brimstone' sermons. Also, if you are a hard-core non-vegetarian with the ability to subsume hygiene con siderations for the best chicken in the world, make a beeline for 'Hotel Rehmainya', a 100 sq feet wonder. Established over 60 years ago, Rehmainya purveys its special brand of melt-in-the-mouth chicken in a unique style.

Hotel Review of Wild Palms Guesthouse
Comments: This homey five room is fine for a relaxed visit, It is simple. I have given high grades because for the price it is worth it. The facilities are not new nor are there any amenities so this is basically and urban home stay.
Best Experience: The size of rooms is good, the large 'suite' with balcony is pleasant.
Worst Experience: Nothing is really bad. The neighborhood and the homey feeling may be a little off putting to some travelers more used to deluxe facilities.
