This is the only Resort/Hotel in India that has won the Eco-tourism award. This is a holiday that everyone that has sense of finer tastes should experience. The Management has spent a lot of time and effort in restoring the resort to old glory.

Best Experience: The life in true village setting 100 years ago is the best experience!

Worst Experience: Nothing to mention as the worst experience.

Overall stay was very comfortable, but the leisure activities were not in function and what ever was there was to maintained up to the mark. Rooms and service were good. Very accommodating.

Worst Experience: Leisure activities should be developed.

We stayed two nights in two suites and a deluxe room, first week of Feb 2012. I had clearly asked for a late check out with Benazir at the Chennai office while booking, explaining that we were on a visit to our family village temple. I was rudely told by Ramakrishnan at 5 am in the morning that I had to vacate immediately and no info on the late check out had come to him from Chennai, when I asked him to reconsider he rudely asked me to contact the Chennai office,we had to vacate all the rooms in a hurry. when I took up the matter with the Chennai office on my return, I was once again very rudely asked to go to the consumer court and not disturb them. (Latha and Benazir). Also the hotel charges 2.5% extra when paying by credit card, which is illegal. Room Tip: Please do not stay here.Extremely overpriced and meant only for foreigners, while Indian citizens are treated badly.

I travelled to this place along with my baby and the experience at the hotel was the worst of all. We had actually vacant the hotel before one day from our scheduled holiday. The rooms were so bad there were so many lizards and insects in the room, as my babay was along with us we couldn\'t risk to stay in this hotel for long. The service was worst . Certainly not recommended.
