This place was right on the money!!! I am a huge fan of open spaces and this place had beautiful lawns, and fountains, and flowers and trees and pool - ah i could go on and on. It\'s very charming, really! I liked what they do with western food. It\'s a limited menu for western food (like 99.9% Indian hotels) but whatever they do offer - ITS GOOD!!!!!!!!! The fried chicken was my fav!

Best Experience: The rooms were the best part; exceptionally large, clean, with lots clean towels and toilet paper, and a fridge. That\'s more than most really expensive hotels. The pool is also wonderful. They have large gardens and a wonderful pool - and they know how to use it. Great view from our room, and we also got a private garden (TIP: ASK for it).

Worst Experience: None whatsoever!

This trip was spot on, from the moment GO. Bharatpur is beautiful during the rains. We arrived at Swaraj Resorts (looks like a massive fort from the outside) - and fell in love with it. It has the MOST beautiful gardens, and fountains. The check process was smooth, the rooms were great and quite large (we fit in 4 people and could have easily fit in 3 more!!). It was a friends 'stay up all night' get together so we intentionally wanted to stay together and chat all night. The food was to die for. Their Chef is also the most pleasant person on this side of the planet.

Best Experience: They organized a tour of the bird sanctuary for us - which was very kind, as it saves us the hassle of negotiating with the overbearing rickshaw and tour guides. The POOL! - We had a blast at the mid-afternoon pool party in the rains and music!! Thank you for making that happen!

Worst Experience: Nopes

We had an excellent time here. Its a huge property with green gardens, beautiful pool, spacious rooms. The people are so great - always ready to help.

Best Experience: Whenever we needed any supplies, the hotel staff promptly asked for a list and offered to go and make the trip and buy it for us. What service. Plus, the pool is a beauty!
