This resort is nicely located. Great natural surroundings and very large area. resort is well maintained and best part of the resort is people were very friendly

We were impressed by the clean and minimalistic appearence of the resort after a 2 hour comfortable drive from mumbai.The place is well kept and tastefully designed. The rooms are arrangen in the clusters of eight, 4 on the ground and four on the 1st floor. The rooms on the ground(A/C) are better and have the advantage of a riverfront sit-out at the back.hammocks on the riverside are a great place to read and relax. The water slides and pool are fairly good and other facilities for kids such as the toy train are sure to please the familes. The only downside is the resaurant(pure-veg!!) and the service there.

Best Experience: The management is quite forthcoming, when we wanted the a/c rooms at the last moment(we had booked otherwise) the manager took extraordinary efforts to accomodate our requst even though the resort was fully booked.

Worst Experience: The resataurant is not geared up for a large crowd. We had to wait for almost an hour for the lunch on a crowded day

A wonderful resort experience overall. Situated close to the city yet far from the hustle and bustle. Makes you feel close to nature, and perfect to unwind on a weekend

Best Experience: The resort area is HUGE... with well maintained gardens, landscapes, rivulets and amusement faclilities. All rooms have a balcony and good view of the Vaitarna river. Serene surroundings amidst thick greenery. Theres even a mini-treck within the resort to a \'point\' where you can see confluence of 2 rivers. Enjoyed lazing in the hammock beside the river, and sipping morning tea from the balcony overlooking the forest and river. Drive to the location from Mumbai is excellent

Worst Experience: Food is average.. with liberal doses of oil. The Vaitarna river itself has muddy water, the colour of coffee though it does look good in its surroundings. Blaring music from the poolside pollutes the natural calm.

Great place! Positives - 1. Proximity to Mumbai - not too long a drive - just good enough to enjoy the drive. 2. Beautiful place by the Vaitarna river. 3. Lots of open space and greenery. In all a perfect weekend ( 1 day is good enough) kind of place. very relaxing and rejuvenating. Negatives - 1.Food is disappointing - No non veg food and even the vegetarian fare lacks variety and is not too good . (May be they could get better ratings by changing the cook). 2. Front desk staff are unfriendly and could be a bit courteous. 3. Blaring Bollywood music by the poolside may sometimes not be everyone\'s idea of a great relaxing time - should think about those people as well.

A rejuvenating experience over the weekend... lots of open space, greenery, cordial service and surprisingly close to Mumbai. In fact even the drive after Dahisar to Manor is enjoyable.

Best Experience: Right from bookings, to check-in, F&B, housekeeping, I can only say that this was one of the most impeccable service level I have experienced in resorts around Mumbai.
