This was my 11th trip to Mahabaleshwar; incidentally, I have always stayed in different hotels all the time. This time we chose Rajesh given the location and also we were traveling with my 4 yr old daughter. It was one of the best experience as the hotel people were very friendly; the food was excellent. They had a diferent (less spicy) version of the same food for my daughter which really helped us. The play area, swimming pool etc. was excellent.

Best Experience: The location is ideal. One can walk down to market area easily. We enjoyed our evening there. Also, the hotel had ample play activities to keep the kids engaged. The best of all was the puppet show in the evening; it was a surprise and was thouroughly enjoyed.

Worst Experience: None.

Rooms are okay.They provide mosquito mat if you ask for it.We had 12 prepaid meals and equal number of breakfasts in a package.when we asked for one instead of two meals in a room, we were refused.Room service guy was ready to bring it to our room but shameless management wouldn\'t oblige;so we abandoned half of our rest meals and breakfasts.Your parameters should include Zero;for the (dis)service of this hotel at least.

Best Experience: Walk from this place to the venna lake was a sheer pleasure. Also the adrak tea at a stall. Boating at least once is a must.

Worst Experience: Besides insulting service about which i wrote above, the food is nothing worth writing home about. Daal had too many cloves.rice were of inferior quality and not well cooked. Veggies were okay but again nothing great. A STRICT AVOID PLACE.

Very good hotel. Good service. We went on 27-feb-2009 and it was pleasent staying in rajesh. More than value for money. Good time to travel mahabaleshwar. Not so hot, not so cold

Mahabaleshwar is a nice place to be to get away from busy city life. However it can get crowded during peak summer season. If one doesn\'t like the crowds, avoid it during peak summer. We stayed at Hotel Rajesh and it was very good experience. The rooms & service were pretty good. The food is absolutely marvelous, which I believe was the best part of our trip. Rajesh is centrally located but you don\'t feel the noise of marketplace. Ideal for first time vistors to Mahabaleshwar. Mahabaleshwar has many \'points\' to visit, most offer different views of the mountain ranges and the valley and can get a bit similar after a while. However Arthur point & Wilson point shouldn\'t be missed at cost. Specially Wilson point at sunset.

Best Experience: The hotel offers easy booking method and very good service. Really no hassles. The food is very good and if you are a foodie, one should stay here
