Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary, a part of the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, is home to several animals like Indian tiger, bison, jungle cat and elephant. The lake in the sanctuary is the main source of drinking water for the animals. There is a watchtower in the sanctuary that provides beautiful views of the surroundings.
