The Woodlands Hotel Reviews

Though the location of the hotel looks somewhat in a congested lane, once we enter the gate everything like parking place, reception, restaurants, etc are good. The facilities like 24 hrs hot water, food, cleanliness, room service, laundry facilities etc are good. The manager, room service boys, house keeping persons are very hospitable. Overall it is one of the best econimical hotels.

Best Experience: The manager was so considerable that we were four people of family(my parents and a sister) that he though there were no vacant rooms adjacent to each other, he talked with the guest and somehow made arrangements to give two rooms adjacent to each other. Every hotel employee is very considerate and a good hoast.

Worst Experience: We did not have any bd experience

Overall it was a wonderful experience travelling to wayanad and lodging at the woodlands.However considering leisure activities and trekking activities were missing a lot which can be improved.

Best Experience: the room was neat and the quality of the continental break fast was good

The Woodlands Hotel is a good hotel, at Kalpetta. Booking and front office had given a very good service. Food is delicious.

Best Experience: We stayed there for one day as all the rooms got booked due to Vishu festival in Kerala and Season Trip. Next day, we got the call from reception to continue for another day as one room booking got cancelled. We planned to reach Muttanga wild life Sanctuary, we could not continue our stay and opted to stay in Sultan Bathery which is just 14 kms from Muttanga.

our experience in wayanad has been fabulous.our family consist of four members,where most don\'t like strenuous trekking activities.so ,we decided go to places such as lakes,dams,temples.wayanad offers scope for both kind of tourists ,one d adventure kind and the average scenic beauty lovers. If u love adventure,these are few options chembara peak,menmutty falls,sochipara falls,pakshipathalam,edakal caves.

Best Experience: 1)bansura sagar speed boating facility 2)excellent lunch a kuruva island(ashwathy bhavan) 3)boating at phokot lake 4)kharlad lake(lily flower picking) 5)tea estate near chembara peak. 6)buffet breakfast provided at woodlands(which was fantastic) 7.muthanga wild life sanctury(which is not that good..ple avoid )

Worst Experience: * muthanga wild life sanctuary (where its pretty difficult to spot animals and the journey into the woods is not smooth either.please avoid if u are not avid wildlife lover) *IMPO POINT(if u expect cold climate and come to WAYANAD u will disappointed,as it was around 32 degrees in day and chilly nights(kind of torrid climate to say the most).

The hotel staff are very friendly. The rooms are exactly as photos shown in their web site. Very neat and clean.
