Tiger Moon Resort Reviews
The hotel is a complete no when you are on a vacation. Our rooms AC was not at all working when complained about it, the staff outright refused to accept it and did not take any actions. There were a lot of insects and lizards inside the room. Food was pathetic with limited menu and no respite from the insects even in the restaurant. There is a big....Read More
Pros 1 Great location. 2 Good room. 3 Good natural settings of cottages and around. 4 Friendly staff. Cons 1 No pick up or drop facility. 2 Not well equipped restaurant no juices, no south Indian (dosa, idli), etc. 3 No TV in the room.
Resort was nice, quite, and peaceful. The best part was it felt like we are staying in midst of a jungle. Overall a very good experience and a great weekend getaway. Just a small tip for everyone, please carry your own booze (a little extra quantity) as the Wine shop is approx 10 km from the resort, and also you won't find variety in the in-house b....Read More
They this not provide either basic amenities like TV, Phone and al-carte food. Waste of money. I booked the hotel through MakeMyTrip however the photos on MMT are different from actual. Staff was not helpful.
Pool was usable. Proximity to Tiger resort is the only thing going. But otherwise many problems. No room service for 2 days stay, fungus on the bread, AC cleaning during guest nap time, AC on-off throughout the day. Charges Rs. 75/- per 1L water bottle. Pure rip-off. Small lizards on the wall. Watch out when stepping in the ground. Mud pools are co....Read More
I booked this place for two nights (24/25 December 2015) with my family. The place is highly overpriced and is actually a house converted to the hotel. Overall it was bad deal and we somehow spent our time and got out feeling cheated. In fact our holiday was ruined. I will never recommend this place to anybody. The money we paid could have gotten u....Read More
Above average room & facilities. Good for one time stay. Good non veg was served to us. Reception people were very helpful.
Tiger Moon Resort is a luxurious property amidst nature full of Birds, monkeys, Butterflies and various type of Flora. Hotel staff is very helpful and property is very near to the wild life Sanctuary Gate thus safari would pick you in the last. Food is very Delicious and there are various outdoor games facilities along with 2 swimming pools.....Read More
Rooms are lacking basic amenities like Intercom, tea maker, etc. We booked a Deluxe Cottage however had to shift to a normal room since deluxe cottage lacked basic amenities. The hotel manager admitted that cottage is in construction yet handed over to the guests. There's no room service in the hotel hence you don't even get a decent tea in your ro....Read More
Complete disastrous, location is very remote, difficult to find especially at night. Service manager was very rude, when indicated for bad room lock, he said either you manage like this, or leave immediately! That too at night and with our child, can you imagine! Room is very small, dirty smelling, does not even have a TV or tea/ coffee maker. No r....Read More

It was superb to stay at Tiger Moon resort. This place appeared to be a unique place to accommodate among all hotels in Ranthambore. Amidst the beautiful hills of Aravali ranges Tiger Moon resort was designed so perfectly. It maintained all urban luxury facilities in a dense forest area. This appeared incredible and wonderful to me. The resort cottages in this romantic forest were built in classic style of Rajasthan. I was happy to visit the Ranthambore National Park full of majestic tigers. Sizzling bonfires at night time made us feel great. I am glad to see that the hotels in Ranthambore are maintaining a luxury style of hospitality. Yash Patel Mumbai
Don\'t depend on the staff to inform you about anything. Please initiate yourself, ask the timing of every program they have mentioned in the package. But overall a good experience.
We stayed at Tiger Moon resort in Dec 2015. Great place to stay in Ranthambore. The best part is that the place is very close to the national park's main gate. Decent food, good service. The rooms are decent and good enough for family stay. Yes, they are not loaded with facilities but that's fine considering the location. There are places for kids to enjoy - a small park, a pottery area. Peaceful, decent place.
We took a 3d/2n package which costed us somewhere close to Rs. 6K per head, after some bargaining. This was inclusive of all meals, 2 visits to the wildlife sanctuary, and sightseeing around the Ranthambore fort. The place is beautiful and is consistent with the look of the jungle. We had also checked Tiger Den resort, but that has less of a jungle look, with perfect lawns and pruned bushes. Tiger Moon is more of a jungle decor and is just a few meters away from the jungle wall. I loved the look of Tiger Moon! Staff is very courteous, right from the time of booking to check out. When I was enquiring from home, I spoke to a Mr. Ajith Nair from Bombay who was extremely nice and gave me all details of the hotel booking as well as jungle canter rides. The one thing they can improve on is the food. Food is strictly average and not worthy of second helpings. For some reason, Tiger Den has more foreign tourists than Tiger Moon, I don\'t know why, but I\'m guessing its the effect of the pruned lawns.
