My family and me are planning a vacation from 26th Dec'08 to 3 rd Jan'09 to Shimla, Manali and Delhi. Can anybody please let us know of some budget and decent hotels to stay for 8 people. We want rooms in the range of 1200- 1800 Rs,something for decent staying purpose. Please let us know asap as we are running short of time and the booking price are going high. Hi we have planned to travel to shimla and manali.. on december last week will be reaching shimla by dec 29 evening and visit the places in and around for 2 days..and on 31st visit manali and sightseein for 2 days in manali. We have booked for stay in manali.. Now i have a few questions * Is there any decent budget accomodation available near shimla? * How to reach manali from shimla..what is the best means of transport? * Is it worth to hire a cab from shimla to manali, and say how useful/convinient it will be to travel in and around the places in shimla and manali in the cab for all the 5 days? please provide ur suggestions
