About Trichenda Mangalam Mahadeva Temple

Trichenda Mangalam Mahadeva Temple is located in a small village named Peringanad in the Pathanamthitta District of Kerala. Situated at a distance of around 5 km from Adoor, this site is renowned for housing the ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is visited by a large number of pilgrims and tourists during Kettu Kazhcha, an annual festival celebrated at the temple.

The prime attraction of Kettu Kazhcha is the procession carried out by local people on a huge chariot. The parade also features a bull made of wood and cloth by groups belonging to different areas.
