I stayed at this place in December. The rooms are not so bad. The food quality is fine. The staff is very polite and helpful. The best part was the swimming pool. It is in the heart of the city. They provide separate area for activities. There is no need of booking online. Before booking online please call on service desk and take the tariff. And bargain and then compare the rates online and proceed.
Average budget property nothing except more. Rooms are small and hotel is located near the market. Hotel doesn't has a private parking, you have to park it on the road. Hotel doesn't has an elevator so be wise wile choosing this property if you loose something in the room and it was then, it will be a heavy work to go outside and tell exact thing and come down. Believe me the hotels without elevator is really unexpected and doesn't have a phone in the room if you want something you need to come out of the room. Hotel should reduce it's prices, it doesn't work that much too.
I went to this hotel for the very first time and when I got to know that there is no lift in this hotel, it's not an easy thing for a person to go up to the third floor without that if we have to choose the staircase. The room was also very small and was no cleanliness in room. The bathroom was very small and congested. The room cost was also very high and it doesn't include a complimentary breakfast. Choose this property only when you have no other option left. This hotel requires renovation & there is no private parking of the hotel you have to park your car on road itself. That to is a major road leading to Mapusa Municipal market. So be wise before choosing this property.
Hotel location was good very near to bus stand. Staff were good. They had excellent facility like swimming pool, gym, video game parlour etc. Rooms were luxurious and clean. Food was good. Everything was good value for money and would definitely recommend to others.
Hotel is not according to the price. But it is good to stay here if your budget is low. All famous Baga beach and Calangute beach is not so far from here. Market is at walking distance. You will take Scooty and freely roam here and there. Food is very delicious at Mayur Punjab hotel in Mapusa.
The purpose of our stay was to visit a sick person who lived quite close to the hotel. Lift doesn't work at any time. The rooms were quite comfortable, with the TV in working condition, though we had to call a room boy to show us how to set the channels, which were only in Hindi, without any English channels Since the check-in time was 10:00 am, and we had checked in early, we were given a dormitory type of room to freshen up, which was a nice gesture. After we had freshened up, we called for coffee, which on not being delivered for 45 minutes, prompted us to call back to ask about it, and were told that it was on the way up. Fifteen minutes later, on going to the reception, we found the receptionist and the room boy, who was supposedly delivering our coffee, chatting away and looking blank when we inquired as to what happened to the coffee. Frustrating, especially after an overnight journey On returning to the hotel after having coffee outside (around 10:15 am), we were told to wait for 15 minutes while the room was getting ready for us 30 minutes later, with no update, we walked into the room found it messy from the previous occupants, with no sign of housekeeping around. We finally got the room cleaned by 11:45 am only after literally dragging the room boy to do so. We had paid for two nights, but decided to check out after one night, since we were not happy with the service There is only a very small restaurant around the corner which does not offer much by way of food, and is vegetarian. There are no non-veg restaurants close-by. The market is a small distance away and a rickshaw to it costs Rs. 50/-, while the return journey may vary (Rs. 50/- to Rs. 70/-) Do remember to call up the hotel before booking a room, as their website is not updated, and shows low room rates, which is not the case The hotel does not provide any amenities, so carry your own soap, shampoo etc. Also, parking is at your own risk.
It was a nice hotel, staff was helpful every time, this hotel nearby the court that's the reasons it so silent area, it's near from the bus depot and local market. I visited this hotel second time because of its service and lunch which was so delicious. I hope you will see me again and thank you . .
