I just returned from a trip to Coorg after 1 year of planning spending a colossal amount of money along with my cousins' families. And I got the worst experience of my life in my tourist sojourns. I feel all my planning and money got wasted and am still trying to save face in front of my cousins to whom I recommended this place. Visit this place only if you want unwelcome guests like the owners of the property in the middle of your family get together party boozing around and asking you for feedback. I do not understand why our privacy was disturbed by the owners themselves. We could not take it up with them there, obviously, because of their condition which was disgusting and not acceptable in any terms. This is a below average home stay with below average food. In the mornings, the power may go with no hot water in the winter and no water at all some times. After a tiresome day of visiting surrounding places, you are welcomed by the owner who uses the home stay dining hall to booze and in inebriated condition and you feel like you've come to a stranger's property after you have paid all the money in advance. Overall, a bad experience and would NOT recommend this place to anyone. These types of home stays bring disrepute to Karnataka tourism and bring it down after all the good efforts by governments to promote tourism industry. The service from the chef and the manager were excellent but they fade away given the state of things of the management.
This hotel was fantastic. They had their private beach also, so it was very good. Location of the hotel was good. This hotel is inside city only. Everything about the hotel was good. Food was the best part of this hotel. They provide both veg, non-veg foods. The room allotted to me was neat, clean and spacious. The view from the room was very nice. I did not face any check in, checkout or car parking facility in this hotel. The destination was just okay for me. They had not provided any pick up and drop facility. There was no Wi-Fi connectivity provided. It was a relaxing trip with friends. This hotel was actually good so I don?t have any suggestion for them.
