Had two days leave from office and kids insisted on going for a wild getaway. Jim Corbett was the unanimous decision. We had stayed in Tusk & Wings a few years ago. When contacted, we found it has been renovated. Where we had stayed in a cottage before, this time we booked their newly constructed room. From the moment we reached, we couldn't help but be highly impressed by the new look of Tusk & Wings. It had landscaped wide lawns and new swimming pools for both kids and adults. We could see the Bijrani forest from wherever we were in the resort. This time kids were grown up enough to enjoy themselves without our constant supervision. They loved to play with the rabbits at the resort during the day and we enjoyed a candlelight dinner at night while the kids splashed around in the rainbow-lit kiddie pool. The Jim Corbett jungle safari in the rain was a great experience as well. We had a delicious lunch in the lawn, courtesy the helpful resort manager.
The overall experience at this hotel was very nice but we stayed here only for a night. The hotel was convenient to locate and surrounding was maintained well. The staff members were warm and professional in service. The appearance of the hotel is good and room provided to us was cleanly maintained with necessary amenities, which were working properly. The food quality of the hotel was good but it could have been even better. Since our stay was for a night, I did not get much time to see if any activity was conducted but sightseeing trip was organised by the management. The destination is very good to visit and as per our visit, the hotel is very good for family stay and definitely worth for money.
