It is one of the best lodge in Bishnupur. The lodge is located at a convenient location and it is near to the station. I stayed there for a day only. We got 3 rooms here. Hotel staff was really courteous and very supportive in every aspect. Booking front office and reception was good. Both veg and non veg food was available and quality was very good. Room condition was average with TV, geyser etc. Hotel was spacious and surrounding was good. The appearance of the lodge was good with a lawn in front. You may spend a good time when you are in the lawn. There is no such activity like gym, pool etc. This lodge can be recommended. Bishnupur is an average destination.

Facility wise, room rent was bit high because of a local fair that time. There is a geyser in the room. It is an average hotel. Food is delicious. Staff is cooperative and friendly. Hotel services are up to the mark. It takes almost 15 minutes to reach this hotel from station via a car. Hotel location is nice. Outward appearance is very good, but room facility wise, it is just average. Reception is satisfactory. No garden or indoor games. Bishnupur is a lovely place. Hotel is recommendable to other travelers.

Hotel was good. I stayed for 2 days here in the March month. Hotel is in Vishnupur. I traveled here with my family. Food was tasty. Staff behavior was good. They were cooperative and helpful. I forgot my mobile in hotel but it was their good nature and they send my mobile on my address. That was really nice of them. Rooms were neat and clean and spacious. TV, geyser and other basic amenities were available. Parking facility was available but games were not available. Hotel is located in main city area. Location was very nice. Appearance was well maintained. I booked my rooms directly. Vishnupur place is excellent for visit. This is a recommendable property for travelers.

The lodge is located at convenient location.Hotel staff are really courteous and ready to help on any matter. Catering is praiseworthy both from the angle of cost and deliciousness. The room I took (No.208) is perhaps the best topographically but needs a little care so far as cleanliness is concerned especially the toilet. It was a deluxe room but devoid of some basic necessities like clean towels bath soap of at least of standard product ,shampoo door mats etc. Lighting arrangement is grossly inadequate. A balcony with no chair and tea table ! The tariff,(Rs 950/ per day )therefore, appears on the high side and unreasonable. travelers are somehow compelled to check out by 6.30 A.M to avail trains for Kolkata as check out time is 9Am otherwise people have to wait at the station for hours together.

The lodge was good and so was the stay. The location was good. It was an estate kind of surrounding. They arrange transportation on request but we travelled by our own car. The appearance of the lodge was good with a lawn in front. Also had shops for the women to enjoy shopping. Staffs were helpful, service was average and cleanliness in the rooms were average. Facilities in the room were normal. Food was provided by them but due to time mismanagement we had to eat out. This lodge can be recommended. Bishnupur is an average destination.

Though it was at a distance from the station but it was located in the prime location and all the tourist places were easily reachable from the hotel. Outer appearance of the hotel was good. Front office and reception was good. Hotel was spacious and surrounding was good. Both veg and non veg food was available and quality was very good. Room condition was average. Service was good. Garden was average. Bishnupur as a place was average.

THE Heritage city of India...BISHNUPUR....there is nothing to say any more about it. The famous Terra-Cotta art is here.
We stayed here for two & half days and one night in September,12 along with 46 girls of our school. it's a very good hotel and has good, well ventilated clean rooms including all modern facilities & tight securities. well close & 7 minutes walking distance to 'Ras mondop' where you buy entry tickets & annual festival is situated. Rickshaws, cars available all time. Filtered & mineral water, Generator available 24x7 days.

Best Experience: Hotel officers & staff are very helpful and well behaved. Service is very good and homely. The Bishnupur Hotel alias Udayan Lodge is situated centre of the Bishnupur tourist spots and beside Bishnupur Tourist Lodge(Govt. of W.B). Shopping shops, Restaurants & Bars, ATMs and markets well close to this hotel. We shopped silk sharies from KANISHKA, the leading bishnupuri shari makers; which was very near to the hotel.

Worst Experience: There are no worst experiences when I had staying here.

We went to Bishnupur from Kolkata during the peak heat season of October 2010. Though it was very hot and humid, we enjoyed the lovely Terracottta architecture of this place. These Monuments were built between the 17th and the 18th century under the Malla Kings Dynasty. Its a wonderful tourist place, with not many tourists, but lot of Monuments being preserved as National Heritages.

Best Experience: Bishnupur is a small prospering village in West Bengal and what I liked was these terracotta monuments. Built in the 17-18 Century, these still stand tall and strong. Though it was very hot outside, once you entered these monuments bare-footed, it used to be so pleasant inside. We visited most of the temples and monuments in the 2 days that we stayed and unfortunately couldn't visit the factories where these terracotta tiles and other gift items are made. Maybe next time.

Worst Experience: Except for the heat, none. But then we had chosen to go there during that season.
