We stayed in the historic suite of Umaid Bhawan Palace. It was a leisure trip and we just wanted to explore the beauty of Rajasthan and live like the royal kings did and hence decided to live here for a night. We were 5 people and we had taken 2 adjacent suites. The suites were 1 bedroom apartments in themselves and we were greeted by an amazing service at the hotel. We were given personal butlers for our entire stay and we were welcomed with amazing welcome drinks which consisted of wines and variety of juices. On entering the room, we were greeted with an amazing array of food varieties which were a welcome gift to us. The palace in itself is so beautiful that you can just roam around in the galleries and marvel at the beauty. The washrooms were huge and even better than you see in the pictures. There was a separate dressing room with bathrobes and silk robes. The robes were to die for. I even wanted to carry one of it home. I even asked the staff for it, to which they helped me with the address of where to find that exact robe, which was very sweet of them. One of the best staff you could ever come across with. The morning breakfast was just as amazing. I had one of the best waffles ever in my life. There was such a large variety of dishes available and they were getting a lot of rare dishes on demand and were making them fresh. There was a guy playing flute in the background which made the whole experience much more soothing and beautiful. One of the best mornings I have ever had in my life. All in all, it was more than amazing and worth every penny that you could spend on it. Truly a TAJ Experience!

I stayed in this hotel in April 2015 with my friends. The hotel is beautiful, grand and luxurious. The interior is amazing too. It even smells luxurious. I had a lovely comfortable bedroom with large bed and cool marble bathroom with all modern facilities. The main plus points of this hotel are service and indulgence. There were lot of peacocks around. The swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor were excellent. I was escorted to a private dining room which was can't be explained as there are no words that could describe. The chef, staff, all were so good and they always extremely courteous and willing to help. The best service I ever had out of all ll the places I ever stayed. The food was excellent, mouth watering taste. Breakfast is one of the best part outside on the terrace. If you go for trip of Jodhpur then must visit this hotel. Room tips: All rooms are good, should try historical suit.
