Unkal Lake

Unkal Lake, one of the most frequented tourist attractions in Hubli, provides opportunity for recreation to tourists. The water body is visited by travellers to sight beautiful view of sunset along with experiencing cool breeze on the beach stretch in evenings.

The lake complex features a lush green garden, recreational facilities for children and boating. The beautiful water body is believed to be 110 years old, which is spread over an area of 200 acres of land.

In the centre of the lake, a statue of Swami Vivekananda is erected that grabs attention of tourists. The lake is also a chief source of water supply in the area. Sighting sunset from the lake side is a popular activity among travellers.
