"Just awesome place to visit in Rourkela"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Feb 10, 2016
Its just the awesome place. I will say the must visit place in Rourkela. Amidst the smoke of iron plants its the best place to enjoy the nature high at the mountain. I was pleased to see the temple, its sooo good and mata rani's blessings will make you happy. It has many stairs to reach the top but patience and devotion help you reach. Don't mind those people below who will force u to buy stuffs from their shop. It's good and awesome. The view of Rourkela and Power Plant will surprise you am sure.

"Good view with Triveni Sangamam"

  • 4.5/7
  • Posted Dec 14, 2015
Vedavyas a holy place approximately 10 km from Rourkela is famous for the meeting of three different rivers called as 'Triveni Sangamam'. People belonging to a certain type of religion mainly worship here, the view of Vedavyas is awesome with a bridge on one side and flowing rivers on other side. Evenings are the good time to visit since many people visit at that time.

"Place of origin of Mahabharata"

  • 4.0/7
  • Posted Nov 30, 2015
It is the place where maharishi Veda Vyasa wrote the Great Epic of Hindu mythology-'The Mahabharata'. It is situated on the river side, which also serves as the meeting point of two rivers-Sankha and Koel. This place is very calm, peaceful and a place of religious importance as Mahabharata was written here. The cave here gets its name from Rishi Vedavyas as he himself resided here and wrote the Mahabharata.

This place is almost 15 to 16 km from Rourkela. It is the sangam place of three rivers, the Sanknha, Koel, and Saraswati. Whoever goes to this place takes a dip. It was a holy, serene atmosphere. Nice place to be.
