Place of origin of Mahabharata

It is the place where maharishi Vedavyas wrote the Great Epic of Hindu mythology-'The Mahabharat'.It is situated on the river side, which also serves as the meeting point of two rivers-Sankha and Koili. This place is very calm, peaceful and a place of religious importance as Mahabharat was written here. The cave here gets its name from Rishi Vedavyas as he himself resided here and wrote the Mahabharat.
