Vivanta by Taj-Whitefield, Bangalore
ITPB, Whitefield Main Road Bangalore
Overall, my stay experience was good in this hotel. I went there for official purpose. Services were fully satisfactory. behaviour of the staff member was friendly. Location was superb and I reached the hotel easily. Hotel was located near to the Railway Station. Surrounding of the hotel was neat and clean. Inner and outer look of the hotel was fantastic. Rooms were neat, clean and spacious. All basic amenities were available like AC, TV, geyser and working properly. Different view was available from the room window. Food was delicious but cost was little bit high. Check-in and check-out facility was quickly. Swimming pool, gym and other activities were available. Destination is excellent for travel. Hotel was value for money. I will recommend this hotel for tourists.
The hotel is in the whitefield area near a big mall. Location of the hotel is just perfect as it's very near to the road leading to all major offices/IT parks. There is constant traffic on the road, however, once in the hotel, you can hardly hear it. The rooms are nice and cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The in room facilities and toiletries are better compared to many such hotels. Beds are good. I could get a good sleep without any issues. The room was farthest from the elevators though - had to walk forever :P The breakfast was the icing on cake. Good spread, collection of juices, fruits and choice of multiple cuisines. Had a sumptuous south indian breakfast. Wanted to end it with a good filter coffee - however, it was totally not on mark. Except this, enjoyed it a lot.
What will make it a good or bad decision to stay at Vivanta By Taj Whitefield is primarily the location. If you have work around Whitefield, ITPL then it's a good location, but for all other purposes, it is just way out of town. But the mall next door provides for some retail therapy. The hotel itself though is a wonderful property, not really huge in terms of capacity, but capable of delivering everything expected from a Taj property. Amenities include swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, restaurants, lounge just to name a few. We were staying here for our anniversary and got a room upgrade from a Loft suite to a Presidential Suite which was a really nice gesture. The room was huge. Had a dining table, microwave, fully equipped bar, tea/coffee maker, work desk, sofa and a tv with dvd player. This was on the top level after entering the room. Steps led to the bottom where a large bed awaited us. Another TV and DVD player with surround speakers added to the wow factor. The bathroom was also large and had a big bath tub as well. Toiletries from Forest Essentials were a thoughtful addition. Only minus here again as in most star hotels was the lack of a faucet in the loo!!! Room service for the suite also included Rs.500 voucher for the Spa. Happy hours at the lounge bar and free 2 clothes ironing per day. Choice of pillows were also good. Mattress quality was excellent, cleanliness and service was superb. We also had dinner at Terracotta the Indian restaurant and breakfast at Latitude. Buffet breakfast had a good spread and taste too was very nice. Tried the spa and I had a really wonderful massage experience, very relaxing indeed. Nothing to complain about the entire stay experience almost. We did have one problem for which the 1 point is deducted in my review. This was the irritating and repetitive noise coming from outside the room, some kind of a motor buzzing. And it was not ignorable, let me tell you. Kept disturbing us again and again, so management needs to think over their soundproofing better, but that apart a fabulous stay at the Taj.
The food was included in my package. The variety of food was available in the hotel. The food quality was awesome in the hotel. The room provided the hotel was neat and clean. All amenities like TV were available in the room. Wi-Fi service was provided by the hotel. The staff were friendly in the hotel. The cab facility was not provided by the hotel. I went to this hotel by my own vehicle. I didn’t use activities in the hotel.
