I had stayed here for 2 nights with family for a summer vacation. The resort was of 23 acres, the cottage allotted for us was awesome. The food was great. If you don't like the food what is been served, you request them your choice they will oblige. The kitchen to my knowledge they were more than 30 people working there, so do not worry on the service part. It has awesome hospitality, the hotel team especially Ms. Deepti her patience was good and gave us fantastic service.

Such a remote place to be and such a great hotel, delicacies provided of regional as well as North Indian. Staff are very polite, dense forests around, place to get peace and get away from hush hush of cities. Its a delight for non-veg lovers.

What better than planning for a trip with your life partner and that too, A Honeymoon. The feeling intrigues me often. Coming to the point, Just when I started looking for an exotic yet adventurous location for my honeymoon, one of my friends landed me on the page of Vythiri Resort, situated in God's own country in the beautiful Wayanad District. Before visiting Wayand, We had a 2 day stay at Ooty, Deccan Park resort. Ooty to Wayanad travelling time is 3. 5 hours by road.

The day came when we were in the mesmerizing and beautiful village of Wayanad, Vythiri. The pathway to the resort is an adventure trial, with the resort hidden almost 4kms inside the jungle from the main highway. The chirping of the birds, a slight hint of the river flowing and a thunderous atmosphere gave our trip a super start. We had booked a Honeymoon Villa for the first two days and Vythiri Habitat Cottage for the third day. Excited, we were to have a view of our room. The speciality of the resort is, there is a perennial stream that flows through it and it is situated in the jungle atmosphere with no urban disturbances. You won't find any internet connectivity, which I feel is a plus point to spend some quality time with your partner. Honeymoon Villa has a in built plunge pool, with ice cool water. On the other hand, Vythiri Habitat Cottage, has a in built jacuzzi.

On the services part, We were offered a complementary Spa, a candle light dinner with cake, minimal room decoration for a night, a flora walk (nature walk) and Fauna walk in the morning (Luckily, We came across a Cheetah and this made our walk memorable). We were also taken to Lakkidi mountain view, which is the next to Cherrapunji in terms receiving highest rainfall in India and then, to a lake. During the Fauna walk, we were taken deep inside the jungle and there were leeches biting us. But not to be afraid, these are not poisonous ones, over that you shall be guided by the team accompanying you.

The food served was mouth watery. Loved every bit of it. If ever there is a chance to gulp mouth watery food, I shall suggest Vythiri Resort for a trip. Alas! Don't forget to spend some time near the stream, its breath taking. To all the merry people, enjoy your newly wed days, and cherish the same. Cheers!!!

I had been to this place 2 years ago with my office colleague. Must say the drive to this place, our first impression on reaching there was all simply enticing.

We were there for 2 days and loved the food. The breakfast was not as good as the lunch or dinner but it wasn't bad. The place is beautiful with a stream in the middle of the property. We enjoyed a game of cricket in the morning and a trek to in the tea estate, besides that we also played carrom, snooker and table tennis.

The swimming pool is the highlight of this place. It is a must for newlywed couples as the atmosphere was very relaxed and warm. The rooms were very spacious and well light and also has very good view from the balcony. Excellent place to relax and get refreshed. We visited during October and it was raining for some part of the day but we still enjoyed the pool and playing in the stream. We also had a hall to ourselves where we danced and played musical chair after ages and also housie.

Overall a must try if you can afford it.

Hotel is conveniently located near to the city and no difficulty in reaching. The staff were professional and friendly with quick service. The interior and exterior appearance was good and the room was spacious, neat and well maintained with all amenities were in working condition. There was no view from the room and it was comfortable. The food was good and I had Indian food in the hotel. There was activities conducted and it was a relaxation trip with family in the month of March 2013. I stay in Chennai and no suggestion for the hotel. It was expensive in the money but there was no delay in check-in and check-out process.

I and my wife visited Vythiri Resorts in April 2014. It was an amazing experience. The resort location was awesome. We went during Kerala summer, but with so much nature and trees in the resort, we didn't feel hot at all. The moment we stepped out of the resort, we knew the real temperature.

The staff was stupendous, extremely polite, dutiful never said no to anything we asked for. The operation manager Mr Gopalakrishnan ( I think that is his name ) was extremely courteous and helpful. The resort is right in the middle of nature, with streams flowing through the resort. When you open the balcony door, it looks into the streams. The food and snacks were awesome. It had a bit of everything, Kerala and non Kerala cuisines. The spa is a must try. Hospitality of this place is mind blowing. The pool is big and the water is so pure, I didn't find an ounce of chlorine inside. There is no TV in any rooms, they want us to enjoy the nature, it is extremely quiet, serene, simply stupendous. We stayed in the Honeymoon villa. My advise is to go the honeymoon villa, it has got a plunge pool within the room. The water used for it in right from the stream. There is a hot water jacuzzi tub right inside the bathroom!!

My overall, stay was beautiful. The hotel is located in conveniently place. The staff at the hotel were good in services. The appearance of the hotel was good. The room given to me was spacious and well-maintained with required amenities including wash room. There is water fall view from the room. I went there for business trip with family. Food quality was good with varieties. There is no delay in check-in and check-out procedure. There were few activities organised by the hotel. Sightseeing trip was available but we did not utilize it. The hotel is value for the money which I spent. I surely commend this hotel for other travellers.

We just loved the silence over there. The rooms where located near a stream. So that you can listen to the sound of water, jungle bees. It was such a lovely atmosphere. A perfect destination for nature lovers. The tree house stay was a thrilling experience. Food was extremely good. Everything over there was natural, beautiful. We just adored the people stay there throughout the year :) They could've arranged better activities. Only a small play area and plantation walk were not enough not a three or four days stay in such a lonely place.
