About Water Kingdom

voted as clean

Water Kingdom is a theme water park situated in Gorai, 55 km from Mumbai city, and along with Essel World forms India's largest amusement and water park.
Apart from the conventional features of a theme water park like water sprinklers, waterfalls, wave pools and fountains, Water Kingdom has many other attractions like the 30000 sq ft Lagoon, breathtaking spiraling water rides at Missphily Hills, thrilling coaster rides at Adventure Amazonia, and fun filled dance and music zone at Brat Zone.
To ensure a safe and sound fun time at Water Kingdom, lifeguards patrol the whole area.
Open to all age groups and throughout the year, summer is the best time to visit this water park. Best enjoyed by the whole family, Water Kingdom has many kid-friendly rides and attractions including the Fab5 who are the mascots of the park.
The entry fee for adults and children are INR 590 and INR 390, respectively, from Monday to Thursday and INR 690 and INR 490, respectively, from Friday to Sunday and on holidays. However, senior citizens get a concessional rate of INR 190 and for children below the height 3'3”, entry is free.
Ferries are available from Borivilli and Malad to Gorai on a regular basis.

The park is very famous among the children and adults. The theme park has two parts the amusement park and the water park. The park is connected with road and ferry from the Marve beach.

"Fun in Water kingdom and Essel World together"

  • 7.00/7
  • Posted Aug 10, 2014
Along with Essel world, this is also a very good spot to visit but it will take whole day, so it is better to visit both on two separate days. All water games are exciting, specially in hot weather of Mumbai.

"Good addition to the tourism list"

  • 6.00/7
  • Posted Apr 17, 2014
Water Kingdom is a recent addition to the Essel World. Water Kingdom is essentially a water park with one of the most amazing water rides in India. You can't enter the water without swimming costume. Don't worry if you are not carrying one, because you can even rent a costume from the park itself.

It is said to be the Asia's largest amusement park. They have huge number of water games. The entry fee is worth paying for, specially for what you get to see inside the water kingdom.

"Full day of amusement rides and relaxation"

  • 6.50/7
  • Posted Apr 10, 2014
Took us full day to explore this place, kids enjoyed the rides and we too had fun in the water. The place had lockers and there is small shop , if you are not carrying swim wear. Clean place with food and washroom facilities. Located over a sprawling big campus with lots of trees around.

"Good, but requires more improvement"

Water kingdom is a good enjoyable place for complete family. But the road from which ferry runs requires some development, as the road way takes more time to reach. Overall good place.

There are so many different slides here and all of them are lovely. The wave pool is amazing. Try the vertical slide, it's thrilling.
