Wayanad food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Access : We found that all the places we visited were very well connected and had no problem getting to any place in our car. Even public transport system looked decent. Food : Decent Kerala and north Indian style food were available everywhere - thugh north Indians may be better judges about north Indian food! Woodlands in Kalpetta is good for typical Tamil/Udipi style food Shopping : If goig to Tholpetty - do not forget to buy 'unniappam' from the Jungle view hotel and the point where the road forks for Thirunelly/Tholpety Also forest Honey and other forest produce and tea are available, though quality is a suspect. Kudumbashree outlets are considered good.
