Hotel Review of Rain Country Resorts
Comments: Horrible experience. The whole atmosphere was so scary that we ran away from that place after staying for a whole day:). The problem was not only with the resort but with the Weather as well. It poured the whole day because of which we didnt have any other option than staying at the resort. Lots of insects all over the place hypnotize you with their unique music which is no less than irritating. The stay would have been better had the rain didnt spoiled the ambience. It was dark throughout the day.
Best Experience: Quite a decent room.
Worst Experience: 1) No one cared for you. You need to run to the dining to order for any food or beverages.
2) The resort charges are exorbitant and are not worth.
3) The way to the place is really horrible. Seemed like were entering some prison in an uninhabited area(Jurassic Park).
4) Nothing great about the food. As part of non-veg, they only serve Fish curry. The dining hall had some smell coming out of it because of which it was not possible to dine at that place, we have to get it to our rooms.
5) We had full two days of planned trip to that place but cancelled the Trip after staying for a day. We were charged for 50% of the amount which was not expected. There was no crowd at all except for a couple. Also, they should understand that no one would like to stay in a place like this when its raining except for honeymoon couples ;)
6) The pond was very dirty.

Hotel Review of Rain Country Resorts
Had a really great time at this resort! We'd gone as a big family group, and had booked their 3-bedroom cottage. The rooms were fabulous, old-style kerala houses made completely of wood. They have a small pond on the property where you can swim, its a natural pond, so the bottom is muddy, but the water itself is very clean. The staff is also very friendly, and was able to accomodate all therequests we had for the kids and infants....

Hotel Review of Rain Country Resorts
An exiting drive across a hillock got us into this scenic resort. 3 km ride takes 20 minutes. Never mind about the bad hill road, the experience is worth it. Situate amidst a small valley, an artificial pond in between and the cottages on the hillside adds to its class. Exilirience call it....

I's up to wayanad with big expectation of a hill town but which wasn't served once i reachd or mebe i reachd in a wrong month when it's so hot and the hotel ambiance too didn't cater my likeness and more particularly for the price we paid but otherwise it's fun being re-union of friends after long time and enjoyed so much just on that note... I'd suggest a place like wayanad hardly for a weekend and that too...
