We 4 of us had a last minute plan of going for weekend trip to Coorg. After hours of surfing through various websites, we finally stumbled upon the homestay named “Serene Homes\' which is at Poojakal (7 kms from Irpu Falls). We had a great time and the entire trip was amazing with lot of fun & adventure.

Best Experience: More than the splendid beauty of Nagarhole and Coorg, it was the warmth of our host that we will remember. Our host, Prakash & Navya, were at their best to make us feel comfortable. The stay at \'Serene Homes\' was like home away from home, and at the same time the professional balance was well maintained. To sum it up everything was perfect. I would be glad to visit the place with my family & friends again....

To begin with the photos of the Serene Homestay dont do justice to the absolutely fabulous location it is situated in! The homestay is right in the middle of huge acres and acres of estate with a very nice vibe of privacy mixed with homelike cosyness .Our hosts were warm and ever helpful, the rooms very comfortable although the lights could be a little more brighter during nightfal. The bathrooms were clean and hygenic and the location was truely breathtaking.A very important information for all travellers is to know the majestic Irruppu falls is just 2kms away and during monsoons its a sight not worth missing at all.Yet i would say the highlight of our weekend trip was the food...the spread was great through length and depth.The variety in veg and nonveg with equally good quantity was simply amazing and the natural aromatic freshly brewed coffee is all that is needed to finish a day.

Worst Experience: the dangerous leeches are all over the stream espcially near the rocks

Its was a wonderful experience to spend some time at peace for the 6 of us who were meeting after quite sometime. Bath at the peaceful stream that flows through the property coupled with some very good food make the trip truly enjoyable.

Best Experience: Bath at the beautiful stream that passes through the property and the serene fields surrounding it.

Worst Experience: None!

it was an amazing trip.... the hosts were the most pleasant people.... and the hospitality was amazingly warm and welcoming.... its an awesome spot hidden behind bushes and trees.... and their own piece of a pretty stream!!!!! an amazing experience... i totally totally loved the stay... i would recomend it to all people who wanna chill out... and the food!!! its delicious... compliments to Navya.. :) cheers Rachita :)
