Best Experience: Surrurrounded by caressing cloud , enchanted by aroma of wild flowers, dazed by chirping of known & unknown birds, it is an experience of the life time. The host lit a fire in the afternoon & delighted with strumming of guitar & local ( khasi ) folk songs
Worst Experience: Difficult to reach as the approach road was in bad shape at that time. no covered space for car parking.

Best Experience: Going to the Resort - It is 15 KM from Cherapunjee Market or Shohra Bajar. This 15 KM will take about an hour to reach. Get local driver from Shilong , who know the resort. Otherwise the Drive will be difficult. The resort is almost at 930 mts. Get a Vehicle from Shilong ( Charge : Rs. 1200-2000 for Sumo, based on season). The Resort - It is placed on Top of the Laitkynsew Villege. View of The Bangladesh Plains and the Falls is clear visible from the Resort. Stay at Room No. 1 or 2 ( Delux) as View is incredible. ( I booked 1/2/3 ) . Rates for Delux - 1200 and Standard - 900. They are also building a Dormatory and a conferance room. Good news is No TV at room. Just watch and listen the Nature\'s Sound. wifi can acesssed. Mobile can be outof reach sometime. Activities - a) Sightseeing - Hire a Vehicle ( may charge you 1500-2000 for Sumo) . It has 10 Points. If you are not in fever of visiting all , can skip the ECO parks. Visit the Falls and caves and Ramkrishna Mission(Confirm the Timings before). b) Butterfly watch- This is a Land of Butterflys. In my view , it is second paradise after Darjeeling Forests. c) Traking - I did the Livin Root Bridge track , which was near the Resort. It was a 3 hrs total track. It took me 1 hr to reach at the Bridge ( downstairs) and 2 hrs to climb. But all it was difficult track. But it was a difficult track. While coming , drink water ( but very less in quantity ) and breathe High through Nose ( not by mouth). My guide\'s tips helped me a lot. I have seen Big Red Squireel, which became very less in Number. There are other traks like Double Track Bridge , River Canopying and Natural Swimming Pool Track ( these all are around 6 hrs Track). Food - Taste Local Chiken / Pork dishes . AND if you can \' the Local Dry Fish Chutneys\'. Hospitality : Wonderfull. Feel like your home. And Atlast Just sit and watch the whole evening , outside the resort.
Worst Experience: N O T H I N G

Best Experience: Great location, hospitality from the family of Mr. Rayen is excellent. He has guided us for small as well as long sight seen perfectly according to our need.
Worst Experience: Food costs are a bit overpriced. Outside the resort children play area is not so good (that area is under construction, probably it\'ll be better after construction)
