We had a wonderful time out here. The place is so serene and the courtyard is fabulous. When we learnt that the resort has been built in the recent past keeping the traditional house at mind we were really taken aback \'cuz of the minor and minute details that they had planned in. The landscaping is beautiful and it\'s an ideal place for honey mooners if they\'d just want to know each other better and not having to care about covering a whole lot in their trip.

Best Experience: The courtyard, the kalyani, the friendly hosts.

Worst Experience: None too much. If you know what you\'re getting into as far this resort goes.. nothing is bad.

I was looking for a resort where my entire family ie about 13 adults and 8 children could spend 3days and 2 nights .though this resort does not have much to offer for 3days, to spend one day it is an excellant place,small but uncrowded pool where you can play like a child with your children,good play area for children, tasty food , service excellant.Felt as if I was in my personal resort.

Nice weekend getaway from Bangalore. The resort has very successfully managed to create a beatiful experience within its premises, even though there is not much to do at the location. The surrounding country side is interesting as well if one loves to explore esp. the lake which has some interesting bird life.

Best Experience: - Very good Service - Fabulous food

Worst Experience: - Not many activities for long stay - should try to develop activities around the resort like fishing at the lake or trekking to the near-by hillock.

Angana basically succeeds by exceeding expectations. A basic \"cash only\" resort which revels in its rustic atmosphere and indeed food, Angana is an hour\'s drive (if you\'re lucky) away from Bangalore City. Wonderful service and excellent cooking and most of all, mostly silent surroundings make for a great experience.

Best Experience: Food was not your typical Chinese, tandoori, Manchurian mish mash- very rustic and homely if you will, the food specialized in identifying and presenting vegetables that do not make it to your local \"Foodworld\". That was the best part!

Worst Experience: Of all the things, as a part of their \"day picnic\" package we had a bunch of people invade the beautiful countryside with loudspeakers and remix music. They should ban the use of any amplification equipment!

Have been to Angana twice. Once just me and my wife. We were so impressed by the place, we took our friends the second time and they loved it. My wife was 7 months pregnant and we needed to go to a place not too far away from Bangalore. After a lot of searching on the web, we finally found this place (where else, but at indiaresortsurvey.com!!). All the other resorts we enquired were a rip off - minimum 5K per night. We went to Angana, with crossed fingures and the moment we saw the place, we were glad that we came here. The resort is designed as an old courtyard house (thotti mane), and it is very charming. It was totally different from the regular modern resorts. Though small, the surroudings were impeccably clean and green. The food was excellent. The manager Mr. Subarmani and the staff were very helpful. Though I would have liked to get a massage, we were told that it had to be booked earlier. The best thing here is the privacy. With hardly any people around, you are left to savour the beautiful surroundings and of course your partner!!. Overall, we had a very nice stay and will be going there more often for sure. We love the place. Don\'t be turned off by the bad approach road :)
