We had the best 2 night 3 day package in a long time. The location is just perfect, nestled in a tropical rain forest with no other resorts around to spoil the mood.....if you really want to be away from the city life, lights, hustle and bustle, vythiri is the place for you. The staff and team there are extremely helpful and polite and always like to know you on first name basis...giving you thats pecial attention all the time. Manager Gopalkrishnan is an asset to the team and he is always ready to go beyond his limits to make sure you have a good time there...definitely recommend vythiri to anyone...

Worst Experience: organised a barneque dinner for friends and us...but the food was not good and this was probably the negative aspect of the trip, but rest assured they made up for this mistake over the next 2 days....

Its an amazing place. The location of the resort and the way they have made it gives you a complete experience of living in a forest. If you love nature and are not looking for the luxuries of a 5 star hotel like spa etc. then this is the place to be. I stayed there for three days and it was an amazing experience. Tree house was the best part. One advice - there are strict timings for food and alcohol is not served so you need to carry your own stock.

I spent 7 nights in Vythiri resort at the end of February 2012. I lived in a serenity cottage and occupied a large and comfortable room with a large bathroom and a balcony. It was a great experience for me for it was my first trip to India. I had a wonderful time. Accommodation was of the finest, and so were the meals. The resort is wonderfully situated in the midst of the rain forest and you can walk around to watch birds or have a look at coffee or tea plantations. If you like it, a guide will show you the most interesting places. The service was very friendly and accurate. Particularly the manager was extreme helpful and caring. If you want, you can book elephant rides and other excursions. Or you can enjoy Spa and Ayurveda massages. Vythiri resort is an ideal place to relax. If I ever visited Wayanad in Kerala once more, I would choose this resort again.
