We went in an off seson so mostly the hotel was empty. we had booked the imperial room, true to its nmee the room was big enough to have a good feel good factor. They have a nice bathtub so in winter to have a hot tub bath was just amazing. The location of the hotel is its USP away from the maddening crowd and trees allaround gives u nice secluded feeling. The Lobby, Passages, Bar Restaurant are all filled with good yesteraday memories.Pictures of kings, queens post independence era etc. The hotel has mostly wooden floorings so it adds to the heritage concept. The food was nice but it lacked the variety or choice. Overall good hotel with a very nice feel good factor.

Best Experience: this place has a old world charm and anyone interested in the past can just continue fantasising about life the original inhabitants must have led here.

I had been to \'WelcomHeritage Woodville Palace\' in the month of Dec 06. I think it is one of the best places to stay in Shimla. The people are very good.. they exceed the expectation of the customers. Quality at its best.

Best Experience: Everything.. they take care of every need to make the stay good memorable holiday. They take care of every little things always .. to begin cleaning of room, keeping the room heater on before you come in, dining table ready, very good service at the dining hall.. ofcourse the quality of the food.. overall I would like to comment as the best in reality by my experience

Best Experience: Spend some time in the sun on the lawn on a cold afternoon.

Worst Experience: You will probably be outnumbered by foreign tourists and be ready for a slightly differential treatment. Rooms have no coffee machine - in case you want a quick one. You have to but depend on room service.
