While in darjeeling we stayed at this resort. It is located in a very good place . Staying at this resort was nice and pleasent. food was another good thing about this resort. we enjoyed our stay.

awesome location The bar is definitely the best part of the hotel. Very different from the regular bar/lounges in other hotels,all desired amenities and a good restaurant sums up the positive experience

When we reached darjeeling, it was around 8 pm. i was not able to see the hotel building from outside. But when i entered in the hotel i was quite surprised to se the reception and the interiors. It was b'ful. The corridors were nicely decorated. Rooms were b'ful. Service was very good. Staff was very cooperative.

Best Experience: 1. In the evening when we were sitting in the bar and the pianoist was playing piano. Romance was there in the atmosphere.

Worst Experience: ------NA------

The hotel is on the main road very close to the Mall road. Main draw back is the hotel does not have valley view as it is on the main city road. The over all experience from the front office and service was good. Food was very good and service was also very good. Rooms were specious. Being a fortune hotel we expeected the room to be well decored and well furnished. But the same was not up to the mark. Much can be done on this front. T.T. and carrom were available for leisure.

Best Experience: Overall stay was comfortable except the following hitches.

Worst Experience: We had booked four rooms about three months prior. But only two good rooms were provided to us. other two rooms were in a very isolated corner away from these two rooms. The heaters provided in the rooms were not effective. The hotel has not provided Tea / Coffee makers in the rooms. For the sun rise at Tiger hills you have to get up at 3.00 A.M. In the chilling hours you dont get a cup of hot tea as the tea makers are not provided in the rooms and the coffee shop closed. Almost all the guests go to catch the sunrise at tiger hills. Even after many requests the hotel did not provide tea in the morning. The hotel management is least concerned about the guests who have paid so heavily for the stay. I have stayed in many fortune hotels all over India but never had such experience.

Best Experience: we like jain food but unfortunatly hotel is mix food food preperation But managment arrenged for us special jain food with kanikas restorent hall,& we enjoyed too much.

Worst Experience: The thing is only there is no lift to go up or down.wich is most worst.
