Traveled to this hotel in the month of March after spending 3 days in Shimla. The property is excellent and is very well kept. The service immaculate and the food is simply awesome. We booked a half-board arrangement so dinners and breakfasts was included in the booking, since there weren't many guests we were offered to order from the menu. We tried a wide variety of food options and all preparations were extremely well done . . The hotel has a massive heated Jacuzzi that overlooks the valley, you can just spend hours enjoying the view over a drink from the poolside bar. They also have a fully covered and heated swimming pool. The rooms were slightly small and air conditioning had some issues which took a ted bit longer to fix than what you'd expect at such a property. They also have a large and very well kept garden/forest area as a part of the property, you can spend a lot of time within the property enjoying every nook and corner.
I love this hotel It's a most beautiful hotel I have ever seen But only see in pics and video But my dream to see this live with my partner If I get a chance the way of Holidayiq then I will be a most luckiest person in world I go Shimla many time before but stay in wildflowers is extraordinary experience.
It was a long drive from the nation's capital, but one which was full of exciting anticipation of our first visit to Shimla. Having left the Rajdhani early in the morning, we hit the mountainous terrain sometime after 12 noon. The flora, fauna changed, the hills began to beckon us to a higher altitude and we reached Shimla at 4. 00 pm. Another hour of curves and meanders on the road took us to Hotel Wildflower in Mashobra. What a welcome sight it was when a steep road, surrounded by cedars, led right into the portico of the hotel, built in colonial style. A liveried attendant welcomed us with a warm and courteous "Namaskar", which was signature greeting of all the staff in the Hotel. A traditional Oberoi welcome with a "tilak" by a young lady in a beautifully draped sari and a chilled glass of apple juice completed the initial welcome into the beautiful lounge, filled with the fragrance of jasmine. The lilting notes of soft music coupled with warm hospitality of the hotel manager, Abhishek Sharma, made us instantly drop our tiredness of an 8-hour grueling road journey The ambience of Wildflower lounge with an antique fireplace and old but beautiful upholstered furniture and the Hotel staff in typically Himachali dress complete with a cap was like some dream setting. Our rooms were equally inviting, with rose petals strewn on stark white sheets and a lovely view of the garden below; it brought an upsurge of happiness, setting the mood for a lovely holiday. Dinner offered a choice of three locations- an open terrace, too chilly for a meal at night, a covered veranda and a cosy dining hall. Having chosen the last option, with a table by the window, it became our favourite spot for each night meal. An inviting and sumptuous buffet with numerous dishes made us look forward to every dinner. Not to mention the personal attention received from the Head Chef, Arun Katoch, and a hotel staff Neha A diaphanous cover mist around the hotel greeted us in the morning, reminding of a scene straight out of Bronte's "Jane Eyre". Breakfast was on the terrace overlooking the mountains in the distance and the sun playing hide and seek through the light cloud cover The delicious variety of numerous dishes during every meal, temptingly laid out in Wildflower left us wanting for more; but what added to the flavour was the warmth of genuine smile and impeccable manners of every staff made us resolve to go back again. Not to forget to mention the hotel setting amongst the mountains, surrounded by the cedars, where the wind could be heard moaning in the trees; where the air was crisp and clear and where there was no honking of car horns or the cacophony of city life. That is a place called Wildflower Hotel .
The place where we stayed was very good and the weather was also very good. Service was good and the food had a lot of variety. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi was very good and the rest of the things were different from other hotels and were very good.
We went there on 6th September just to have a cup of tea as it was highly recommended by our friends and they were so right. The place, weather, service, hospitality, elegance was just extraordinary. We stayed there for almost 1 hour and fell in love with that place. Anybody looking out for a luxurious and relaxing weekend, go out there. It would be worth it.
The Wildflower Hall, an Oberoi resort near Simla at 8000+ ft above sealevel is a wonderful place to unwind with very greenish mountains all over. An excellent place if you love nature, mountains and wild plants and flowers. The resort is bit secluded and offers very good facilities in doors and excellent sightseeing and mountaineering experience outdoors.
Staff service in the hotel was good and quick service. The hotel was located in a convenient place and was easy to find a bit far from the bus stand. There was no delay while check-in and check-out. I stayed in the hotel on relaxation trip. The appearance of the hotel was average. The rooms are spacious and well maintained with amenities like AC, TV and a geyser in working condition. The rooms had garden view. Taste of food was good and pricing was bit high. There were no activities in the hotel.
