I had visited this hotel with my family. The complimentary food was provided in the hotel. The variety in food was provided in the hotel. The location of the hotel was good. The destination of the hotel was very nice. The appearance of the hotel was very nice. The food was value for money. There was no activity arranged by the hotel.
. Rooms are neat and clean. Took a lot of effort to reach the hotel. Hotel mostly suits for trekking people. Tree house looks good. But dint attract us that goodLocation for hotel is so exciting place in between hills and near to Kerala-Tamilnadu border. Room looking and interior also beautiful but it's far to highway 20 km from Munnar Thekkady highway. It's so romantic place for honeymoon couples. There room service also good, only one problem was with the food.
Hotel location is not so good. Hotel staff is co-operative. I strongly recommend not to go there for tree house.

I had been to Thekkady and stayed in Wind Haven Resort. It was not that easy to locate the hotel, as it was far from the city. The surrounding of the hotel was good. The internal and external appearance of the hotel was average. The behaviour of the staffs in the hotel was fine but they were not quick in service. There was no delay during check-in and check-out. The room in the hotel was not up to the mark as there was no proper electricity facility in the hotel. Overall, I was not that satisfied with the stay and I will not recommend it to other travellers

Wind Haven is different as the people there are different indeed. Our two days of Thekkady and Ramakkal trip was made memorable with the help of wind haven managers. The weather was simply awesome with wind blowing from everywhere. The trekking to the top station was rejuvenating experience and the view from top station was majestic. Rooms are kept exceptionally clean and inspiration quotes in conjunction with the conversation with Capt. Noble was worth spending your valuable time. You may be lucky to have him as your guide to the top station. Travellers shall take two days at Thekkady to experience Ramakkal & Thekkady or else depart from Munnar early and enjoy boating at Thekkady and reach Ramakkal at least by 15:00 to get the glimpses of Ramakkal.
This was our Thekkady hotel as part of the Kerala tour and after all activites in Thekkady we reached the hotel just before sunset. We were very lucky to see the beautiful sunset over the western ghats through the blades of huge wind mills as the manageress sent us straight to kuravan mount immediately after freshening up. After sunset the view from the planes of Tamil Nadu was majestic and they call it is Diwali all night. sever cities were lit up over the planes. The night was pleasent and very quite as the Ramakkal is located at the Kerala Tamil Nadu border and it is quite place after 9 PM. Morning was greated by cool breeze and mist around the resort and after a wonderful breakfast, we have been guided by Ms.Mini for the trip to top station. Vow that was just fantastic and I have no words to narrate the beauty of top station and needle point. I wish I had a 2 days stay here so that we could have covered all atractions in Ramakkal along with Thekkady. Choose the suite if you want to see Ramakkal from your room.
Only one word comes to my mind is " Wonderful heaven" Wonderful service, value for money & lovely people specially Ms Mini perera & Sagar sinha.
We loved the beautiful quiet location especially after the noise of Bombay and Bangalore. It is not near a town but driving to the different area's the vierw is always different as you wind through the beautifull hills. When you are the outdoor type there are lovely walks. Mini and her staff were very helpfull. Captain Noble the owner showed us around. We went to a spice farm it was nice it was owned by 2 brothers and not commercialised like some tourist places. Food was very nice.
Weather during December was absolutely smashing with mild fog and cool breeze. The trekking around Ramakkal was rejuvenating. I ventured all the way down to an old temple on the foothills and later realized that it was in another state. The hotel was very clean and the staffs were extremely cordial and helpful. The lady came all the way out to guide us to their USP, top station, through the forest. Can enjoy the rush of tourists from your balcony.
