Amidst my business trip to Rajasthan I had planned my weekend at Udaipur and wanted to stay at a place which is in midst of the charm of Udaipur. In my due course of checking on website I happen to see Wonder View Palace and happen to book the same, though unaware if this would be the right place. To my surprise and beating my worries I found this place truly amazing. As I happen to reach this place quite late by 11:30 pm and spoke to the manager, in spite of my delay a cook and a service person waited for me, made preparations and offered my the dinner that I desired. The service and humbleness of the owner and the manager is way beyond expectation. Location is truly amazing as you are surrounded on all 3 sides by lake with its majestic palaces and thrill of its glowing majesty. The terrace offers an awesome view and most of its rooms and the restaurant is lake facing. Rooms are neatly decorated and has the old charm. Also a keen mention if you have the eye for photography carry a tripod the night shots from the hotel terrace cum restaurant are worth a catch. All I would say is this hotel deserves the 7 star rating and is perfect in all aspects.
Excellent place. Excellent food. Service was good. Neat and clean rooms. Very nice view from hotel. Peace and nice ambiance. Nice staff. Location was also good, shops and market are nearby. Local transport easily available. Visit in the month of January and February. Soothing weather.
I went to Wonder View on 14 th to 16 th September. This is wonderful place. View in evening is good, calm and grateful. Rooms are beautiful neat and clean. Staff is very aware or service provide nice. Or hotel head is also a great women. She corporate us very much. There in Udaipur it has many hotel but this a nice one. In hotel WiFi, TV, AC or many facilities are good. My experience of stay is wonderful. Ever in life if I visit Udaipur, I will stay at same one.
i went to udaipur along with my friends to stray from the monotonous corporate life. The place is really great and totally justifies the name "City of lakes". Wonderview palace hotel is situated at a very awesome location, just beside the lake.U can drink n dine at night on the terrace under the open sky watching the shimmering lights on the lake and feeling slow cool breeze.Morning view of the lake is spectacular from the terrace and balcony. All amenities ranging from food, alcohol, bedding, room interiors are really appreciable. Food - different types of cuisines ranging fro Chinese to rajasthani (dal bati churma on special order) can be availed.Food is delicious and cooked in rajasthani spices. Hookah - there is separate hookah lounge on the 2nd floor where u can sit and relax with different flavored hookah.hookah can also be served on terrace dinning but not in rooms. This is one shortcoming i found in the hotel. Rooms and Stay - i stayed in semi deluxe room which had proper mattress and table lamps with rajasthani wall paintings. Also the interior of room had traditional rajasthani style carvings and dome style windows.Beds were comfy and bathroom needed slightly more cleanliness but it was OK.Calm and serene place with no noise and nuisance. Staffs were courteous. They did not react despite the fact you are calling them for services 'n' number of times. I would recommend this hotel with a rating of 6/7.Food and all are reasonable rates(well its subjective).
I visited Udaipur city in month of MAY 16 and stayed at Wonder View Hotel near lake pichola. It's very nice hotel and as it's name all is wonderful. You can visit all major attractive place like lake pichola, jag Mandir, jagdish temple, city palace, bagore ki haveli, city market near this hotel or I can say it's walking distance. Udaipur is very safe city for tourists.
