I had visited this hotel for family trip. The appearance was very good. The overall service was good. The room facility was well maintained. The restaurant was not available in the hotel. The activity was not conducted at the hotel. I don't have any suggestion for this hotel. I had booked the room by online.
My visit to this hotel was in November month. The tariff at the hotel was thousand fifty rupees per day. The Mangalore city was average. Location of the hotel was inside the city. The appearance of the hotel was modern. I booked the room directly. The receptionist at the hotel was friendly in behaviour. The overall service provided at the hotel was average. The food we ate at the hotel was good but they did not provided complimentary breakfast but Tea and coffee was provided. The room allotted was good and I booked for non-A.C room with all basic amenities. Hot water facility was also available and they also gave internet facility. I stayed at the hotel with my friends.
It is a very good hotel. Experience is truly mad and the hotel is very big. There is parking services and there is door to door service. All should go to that hotel we have had a great time in the hotel all of us should have the experience in the hotel. Good hotel.
This is a good hotel to stay and eat. The location and surrounding area are very nice. The amenities are older, but service is good. The attached restaurant provides unlimited traditional South Indian lunch/dinner at Rs. 50 only per person. Ample parking space and calm atmosphere makes it worth staying.

I have visited this hotel for food and stay many times. Its a very old hotel with reasonably prices for both food and stay. Room service is very quick and staff are friendly. There is ample space for parking, they even supply food to vehicles parked outside. Vegetarian meals are served in banana Leaves. Its famous for south Indian food. Meals are relatively inexpensive.
I stayed in Woodlands hotel Mangalore 3 days, it's a nice experience. A medium facilitate and the location is in heart of Mangalore that is nearer to Hampanakatta. You can expect a good service and cleanliness in this hotel. Basically Mangalore is for viewing best beach you can get best staying experience with Woodlands. Just go for it.
This hotel is almost in the center of Mangalore, it was easier to go to malls and beaches from here and their service was also very good You get nutritious vegetarian food. Best to stay with families to have some wonderful memories of Mangalore I stayed here with family and I had a good time spending here, the food their services were just amazing. I just loved it.
We visited Mangalore in last week of October 2013. One of my friends recommended us to try this hotel. I booked a double room on phone. The hotel is centrally situated in Mangalore. The hotel has old world ambience. The room was quite spacious and clean. The mattresses and bed linen were very clean. The room had a TV with cable connection. The hotel has large parking lot. The staff was very prompt and courteous without exception. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious South Indian vegetarian food. The room and food charges are modest Our sightseeing in Mangalore, Udupi, Malpe and Kundapur was arranged through the hotel. They have a few trusted taxi operators who can be contacted thru' the reception Our stay in Mangalore was most comfortable and memorable. I recommend this hotel, without any reservations, to fellow travellers travelling with families
Woodlands hotel is always been a good place and it is recommended by most of them, food here is excellent, needs to improve on service.rooms were ok.
