Yediyur Siddhalingeshwara Temple

Yediyur Siddhalingeshwara temple is located in the Yediyur village in the Kunigal town. The temple has the Nirvikalpa Shivayoga Samadhi of Tontada Siddalinga, a 15th century Veerashaiva Saint. Mahashivarathri and Ugadi are the two prominent festivals celebrated at this temple.

Sahasra Rudrabhisheka is performed annually on the eve of Mahashivarathri at this temple. The Laksha Bilvarchana and Sahasra Kamala pooja are performed during the month of Shravana. On every new moon day a grand Kumbhabhisheka is also performed at the temple.

The festival of lights or deepavali is celebrated at a grand scale here, by illuminating the entire temple with lights and performing Laksha Deepotsava. An annual car festival is also conducted at this temple in the months of March and April.
