The Hotel is at one of the highest points of this hill ( calling it hills is not right, Yelagiri is just a C shaped out crop from the planes see Hybrid view in Google Maps). We went in very late, as we did not want to drive to Madras risking the demonic drivers with their blinding lights ( In India we have the least respect for life, we are so selfish that we want to blind the other Vehicle off...

The place is ok for the persons from very hot area but not a hill station like Shimla or Manali. You can enjoy the fresh air at the place. Not much places to visit. Ok for very short break of day or two....

Only with the information provided by your site I with my family decided to go the Yelagiri and stay in Hotel Land Mark. To all our surprise it was a wonderful Hotel with very spacious, clean, cozy rooms, delicious food and special care of the attendants to add to it....

Hotel is neat and clean with good service. But, seems a bit too pricy to me. Had to pay Rs 2000/- per night for a compact room. Buffet was good, but had a limited choice. Overall experience was very good....
