hi, well it was great experiance that we visited this resort its valley view has an beautiful panaromic out look from the rooms and balconys of the rooms, it was a great that being time of july there was no rain, we enjoyed every minute of our stay, only draw back being that its a very small city having only half day sight seeing, but its wheather is very good and quite cool, we enjoyed the food from the resort it had good taste, specially, one mr [ilyhas] the kitchen manager was very helpfull, for the way you would like your food to be prepared he was ready to your sugesstion, and would fullfill your wish, i have read the other views of the resot but i will not like to go by their views, i liked the resort very much and would like to visit again in near future.....
Best Experience: the room views were excellant, and mr illiyas the food manger [ i hope the name is right] was very helpfull with food items the other than menu

After I read about some of the reviews about the resort, my husband and me were a bit skeptical about our holiday, which we had planned and booked with Sterling Resort Yercaud. We had booked a room for an entire week through RCI (actually that was the only resort available with them at that period of time). Location of sterling resort is really awesome! I have never seen a resort located in the way sterling located in yercaud.sometime I felt whether I am falling from the mountain,the location make me to feel like that.In few places you can see the mist passing above you but here in sterling resort you can see the mist getting originated and passing under you,in such a way the sterling resort is located.There are not much places in yercaud to see but...

Yercaud is a small hill station and hence you cannot expect Himalayan experience. Good for a 4-5 hrs drive and staying for a night. Sterling is excellently located and has a wonderful view of the valley. That's the best part and if one goes for relaxing with a drink looking at the valley good place to go as a weekend trip. Yercaud as a place by itself is OK. It is cooler than Salem. From site seeing perspective, you could cover all places in a day. Sterling resorts is placed in an apt location. You could see the resorts when climbing up the Yercaud ghats. Depending on your room, the view is fantastic, especially in the evenings. Overall a pleasent experience. Good break from daily work...

The overall experience about yercaud was good. The view from our room was breathtaking. The room service was good too. We loved the lake and the Mont Fort school. We purchased a lot of oils and creams from Bhavani Singhs perfumery.... Though we do not know how genuine the oils are as the owner claims to be....
