Chennai airport is located near to Tambaram, It is around 28 kilometers to Chennai Central, Pallavaram is the area near to Airport, it has 2 three star hotels, decent hotels are available in pallavara

Chennai airport is located near to Tambaram, It is around 28 kilometers to Chennai Central, Pallavaram is the area near to Airport, it has 2 three star hotels, decent hotels are available in pallavaram. In airport premises a vegetarian restaurant is available. Inside airport 3 Taxi services are available, Tirusulam Local railway station is very close, local trains are available to Chennai Central very often. Tamilnadu state bus stop is just in front of airport, there are frequent buses to many destinations within the city, Inside airport, waiting lounge is OK, AC inside the lounge is not enough for the whole area, local phones are available in waiting area. Toilets maintenance is not so good, few duty free shops are available inside the airport, International and domestic terminals are close-by in airport

Chennai - Don't miss Maggi noodles
This is the only airport where you can get feast on Maggi noodles.Thumbs up. There is a savouries shop where you can pack sweets and savouries for your family and taste a few samosas.Very very tasty.

Are Other airports listening. The rest is all downhill.The airport is in the midst of a revamp and not the epitome of a metro airport.Long way to go.
