Then Lachung is the best for you, provided that you have to go there being prepared with enjoying the nature closely with available very basic amenities and services. Lachung is not a tourist hub. A six to seven hours driving from Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim will reach you this mountainous village."

HolidayIQ reviewer Avijit Khan, "Its always being a refreshing and stress busting experiences for me as we are going to lose the real flavour of rural India and the beauty and innocence of the place and their people, so grab it as many as can before they do also get urbanised like other chaotic cities with "no heart and more brain" philosophy.
I think
place like Purulia and many other in north Bengal as well do bring me back on track when I am being derailed by the insensitive and self centered people around us in every day in our life."

Wilderness by the riverside at Jalpaiguri, West Bengalsource: HolidayIQ reviewer Partha ROy took this photo in Jalpaiguri

HolidayIQ reviewer Anandakumar says, "the destination I am writing about are the forests in the Dooars region of Jalpaiguri district. During the pre-monsoon the forests of Chapramari and Gorumara, not to speak of Jaldapara turn into a lush green haven. The forests are teeming with bisons, rhinos, elephants wild boars and a variety of deers. Barking deer is quite common. The forests are a bird watchers'heaven. In the night elephant herds come visiting the Murti river from the northern bank while you sit safely on the other side at the Murti environment observation centre. "
