HolidayIQ Traveller Abhishek Saini from Chandigarh shares, “Morni Hills is an amazing place with romantic views, tight roads, but not tight enough to annoy the traveller. The main attraction is the journey and the place Tikkar Taal which has two lakes divided by a small mountain; the lakes are said to be connected from below the mountain as they maintain same water level throughout the year. A must at-least one-time visit for a couple to have their peaceful and alone time.”

Try Gulshan da Dhaba! HolidayIQ Traveller Shilpa shares, “Smooth drive with toll tax stop on the way. There are plenty of food options at Murthal. "Perfect place for nature loving people on a day trip from Delhi/NCR" shares Shakeel Ahmed from New Delhi. He adds, “Thousands of Siberian birds visit the lake at onset of winters and lay eggs. You can see hundreds of big-sized bird babies crying for food sitting on all trees and around. Deer, Nilgai, and lot of other non-dangerous animals also are there. You can visit by hiring bicycle or cycle rickshaw (auto vehicles not allowed inside) @ Rs 100/hr, and finish your visit in 2 (crash), 3 (adequate) or 4 (leisure) hours. Well connected with Agra via Fatehpur Sikri , Mathura, and Delhi via Expressway from Mathura. It is on main road, so if you don't want to take your own car, no issue; just get down from public transport at the sanctuary gate. City is small and caters to all necessities. Dhabas and big hotels are also on the highway. there is a Fort, which we skipped as we went after seeing Sikri etc.”

HolidayIQ Traveller Shilpi Jain from New Delhi shares, “Mathura is a easy to travel weekend getaway from Delhi. I visited this holy town on one of the weekend of (Supposedly Hot) April 2015. It was a short journey of 2 hours from Delhi (via train). However, you can also travel by road but, I prefer railways as they are more convenient and hassle free. Moreover, it also gives you the chance to experience local transport of the city and open gateways to interact with local people and get to know about infamous but enchanting must visit place in and around the city (Specially food joints). So, this time while you go for a vacation give this strategy a try.”

HolidayIQ Traveller Anuj Mathur from Mumbai shares, “Food, sightseeing and shopping: Since tourists were few in morning had to hire the full jeep for 4 of us (it takes otherwise) for Rs. 2640/- net. Saw tiger pug marks but no tiger. In the jeep as it got scary on a couple of occasions in the thick forest. Most interesting highlight was when we stopped for 10 mins at a rest house in the park and lots of these birds (size of a crow) called tiger brush birds came and ate namak pare/ biscuits from our hand, stood on my head but felt totally unscared. Food is below average at Tiger den but the location is best next to the park. Staff is ok. Went by own car from delhi 213 km. Reached at 10 AM at sariska. The drive from alwar to sariska is 30 km on hilly track. Overall, a very good experience.”
