The beach is serene, calm and famous for exclusive mid-night parties. It's a clean and flat beach with a promenade on its outskirts and nicely made long concrete benches for relaxing and watching the sea waves. The most prominent visual is the Kolaba Fort built approximately a km away from the shore and approachable only during low tides. The second best beach in Alibaug with adventurous water sports, Varsoli Beach has a shoreline which is full of tall trees and lots of place for parking. Scuba diving is available here but I didn't get the chance to do it as it was closed that day. The good place to hang out in Murudeshwar.
