It was the ultimate level of hospitality presented by the hotel. The view of the beautiful Lake is really fascinating. Staff are very well behaved and helpful. Rooms are spacious having all the amenities. Food of Rajasthani is always good. It is the best hotel of Udaipur without any doubt."

But after reaching Tawang, you forget all the trouble you have taken to reach their. India China Border, a place called Bhumla Pass is only 40 Kms. away from Tawang. Road to Bhumla pass from Tawang is worst but the scenenary outside is very good. The Indian Military people at Bhumla pass are very co-operative. They share their experiences with the citizens. None of us can live without music. That’s a given. Next time, listen to the music of nature sounds where chirping birds and ripples of flowing river make you move to a captivating groove.

HolidayIQ Traveller Vinod Koshi shares about living in Kanatal, "Songs of nature, sound of silence is in abundance here... the rooms are spacious and are well designed to give you comfort and pleasure. Food is simple and hence great. The staff is young, educated, energetic and friendly - we never felt we are away from home. The view from the rooms are excellent. The place is advisable for those who want to get away from the noise of the city, to relax with the family, do some little trekking. It takes you away from your world to a new experience which can only be internalised - it offers you so many things that capturing it with lens is just not possible. I would definitely go again."

It’s really important to take time to relax and enjoy a particular destination as a solo traveller. The goal at the end of the day is to blend in and immerse yourself in the city. Go grab a coffee at a popular coffee shop or shop at a local market. The basic idea here is to ease in to the local lifestyle.

HolidayIQ Traveller Jessica Manuel shares about Varanasi, “Had a great time walking through the lanes and bylanes of the old part of the city. The narrow lanes crowded with cows, bulls, speeding motorcycles - was a fantastic experience. One has to watch their steps as these galis /lanes are dotted with cow dung and sleeping dogs. But time and again the old buildings cry out to you to stop and admire them. The spirituality of the city and the culture and tradition all come together in these quaint lanes. I started from Chowk and walked through the Khoya gali, thatheri gali (wholesale market for sarees), past the Blue Lassi shop and ended near Lalita Ghat. Visited the beautiful temple built by the late king of Nepal. If you want to see the real Varanasi, walk everywhere.”

It’s okay to live in a parallel world when you’re on a journey but the train rides have tons to offer besides crying babies and stinky loos. There are stories that are waiting to be heard by co-travellers.

HolidayIQ Traveller S S shares, "You will meet the inner child, while you enjoy the most beautiful train ride of your life. Enjoy and tell an interesting tale to your grandchildren, it's a must try for the life time memory."
