I went to this wonderful Nubra Valley and sacred Yarab Tso lake on 26th April 2016, it was an unforgettable tour of my lifetime, this beautiful lake is located just after the Sumoor Sampling Monastery and just before Panamik Hot Springs, we have to trek/hike for 15 minutes to reach this fabulous lake, the views throughout the journey was absolutely stunning, especially the 360* views from the mountain and close to the lake was extraordinary. Must visit for all age groups when we are to Nubra valley, normally tour operators will take us to Deskit and Hunder, please don't miss Sumoor and Panamik, please ask for Yarab Tso to be included in your package and enjoy it's beauty. We reached the base of Kolukkumalai tea estate. ...We crossed a small village with some shops and then soon we entered the beautiful tea estate. The spectacular view of the plantation amazed me. The sun was playing with the clouds and our jeep was playing and romancing the bends of the road uphill. The road was very rough and patchy with stones.
