Hill | Forest | Sanctuary | Nature

HolidayIQ Reviewer JOJI JOSEPH says, “During the boat journey through the tranquil water in the reservoir, we can see the reserve forests, rare birds and occasionally animals like wild elephants, monkeys etc. The area around the boating facility is landscaped with tree houses, a children's play area and a restaurant. Apart from this we can see the bird sanctuary by crossing the dam, take a ticket from the entrance of the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and walk through the trail in the forest to see the rare birds. It is preferable to take a guide for the walk through the forest but those who prefer to explore the bird sanctuary by following the trail should not venture into the river for swimming without proper precautions since the under currents are very strong and the water deep in some areas. Also, just remember to carry food and water while venturing into the forest trail since you won't find any food outlets there.” Read Full Review
