The hill station has numerous attraction that would keep you entertained over the weekend.

HolidayIQ traveller Saranya Ganesh from Chennai shares, “We took a short vacation to Mahabaleshwar and really enjoyed the place. Mahabaleshwar is very scenic. There are so many mountains and picturesque viewpoints. Esp the needle hole point where there is a rock shaped naturally like an elephant's head was amazing. Another not to miss attraction is the Mapro farm, restaurant and shop. Mahabaleshwar being the strawberry capital of India, we were treated to ample fresh strawberries. The only minus point was that the roads were very narrow.”

HolidayIQ traveller Trevor Saldanha from Mumbai shares, “Lonavala is one of our favourite Weekend Holiday Destinations. The weather is good, there are plenty of good hotels all over, many good restaurants to eat at & several places to go sight seeing too as well. It is only a short drive from Mumbai & driving down the Mumbai Pune Expressway is a real pleasure. We generally prefer to stay a little away from the main market area, as it is very crowded & we like to enjoy the green & peaceful surroundings of this beautiful Hill Station.”

No hustle bustle like other tourist places like lonavala and Matheran. Just enjoy the rough rustic stay with fresh oxygen to breathe in and enchant your soul. Unfortunately, there aren't much food options available so your hotel is the only place to rely for food. Nothing to shop either. This place is meant to enjoy the waterfalls and the greenery and the awesome lakes. It's quite a safer place with friendly people. A two to three days stay is required for complete experience of the place,”
