HolidayIQ Reviewer Jimit Vora shares, “ Gurudongmar is surrounded by snow clad mountains and also has a frozen lake. When we visited, the lake had just started freezing, the upper cover was frozen. We started it at 3.00 AM from Lachen a remote town in North Sikkim, and by 7.30 AM we reached Gurudongmar. In between there was a stop at a military camp, we got out of the car and it was like amazing. The temperature was around -10 degree. There was a campfire in a military camp there and we rushed towards it. We sipped hot coffee there and the experience was simply beautiful.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Imadimmu adds “Soochipara Falls also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls is a threatened waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad, surrounded by deciduous, evergreen and montane forests. Locally referred to as Soochipara ("Soochi" meaning "Needle" and "Para" meaning "Rock"), the 15-20 minute drive from Meppadi to Sentinel Rock Waterfalls offers scenic views of some of the best tea estates in Wayanad. You can have fresh tea here by the falls and this is one of the best places.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Abhishek Singh says, “Indirasagar alias Gosikhurd Dam; Godikhurd dam, the biggest one in Vidarbha region and is built on Wainganga river in Bhandara district. There are several eateries here offering tea, snacks and local food. Sipping them by the dam is a good experience. One may plan a day-long picnic here but I felt that around 2 hours are sufficient for this place. The concerned authorities should take initiative in developing this dam as tourist attraction too. If time allows one may plan a visit to Sindhpuri Bodh Stupa at Mahasamadhi Bhoomi which is few km from Gosikhurd and 3 km from Pauni.Read Full Review
