Bylakuppe is the second largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet. Major attractions of the town are Namdroling Monastery, Ingalakere Lake, Rangaswamy Temple, Ganapathi Temple and several Buddhist monasteries. HolidayIQ Traveller Anju says, "Bylakuppe is the second largest Tibetan settlement in India. It is enroute to Coorg from Mysore. The main attraction is the Tibetan Golden Temple where monks live and perform religious duties. They have vast farmlands and the temple looms in the midst of the land with Tibetan flags fluttering in the wind."

The world's highest cricket pitch and polo ground was constructed in Chail in 1893, after levelling the top of the hill. Satluj Valley, Shimla and Kasauli are visible from the hill top, even at night. The other side of the town has massive Himalayan ranges covered with snow. HolidayIQ Traveller Rachit says, "Chail is a very beautiful place, close to nature, serene and peaceful. Not much activities to do but a must go for people who love nature and looking to relax. Certainly better than kufri in terms of natural beauty."

4. Bhedaghat - Marble Rocks

Dhuandhar Falls is located at Bhedaghat in Jabalpur. It is a popular destination among tourists as well as locals. Edged by green trees and shrubs, the ruffled and bustling Narmada River falling down from a height is like a beautiful painting come alive. The smoke cascade formed by fine water sprays is indeed a visual treat. HolidayIQ tTaveller Pradeep says, "Wonderful place to visit. River Narmada creates a fall between marble rocks giving an awesome view. It's good to visit between October to March. You can refresh yourself in water vapour which gives an impression of smoke."

HolidayIQ Traveller Raj says, "It's more beautiful than anything we had ever seen, but the stay was not very pleasant because of lack of suitable accommodation. Also, the height (17,500 ft) and the minus temperature at night, makes it a little difficult place for a city person like me."

For young couples it is better to include Mangalore Malpe beach along with Om beach in Gokarna also in the list. Carry enough sun screen in case travelling during summer. Carry enough good food as the quality of food is not so great on the highway. Since shirdi ghat road is closed so plan on alternate route."
